Alright my darlings, I know I haven’t been on in ages, and I’m sorry for that. Life’s been kinda crazy and I had to take a bit of a step away from writing. But, I miss it. A lot. But with all the open stories I have going (SO SO MANY) I can’t decide where to start. So I’ll give you a chance to vote on which one I tackle first. (This is all assuming my awesome betas are available.)
Voting will be open until Monday, July 8. Comment below which story you want me to tackle. I’m limiting it to three of my more popular ones so it isn’t overwhelming.

Well thank you, darling. The short answer is: yes. We will be getting back to Vegas.
The slightly longer answer is: it’ll be a while. My partner in crime @outlandishchridhe is CRAZY busy at the moment and the story really can’t go on without her. She wants to, but my beloved Ish just has too much on her plate at the moment. Our hope is to maybe pick it back up in June when she’s done with some of her schooling. We do have some amazing plans for the future of it, it’s just a matter of ‘do we have time to sit and plot’. I promise to let you know when and if we have time to write more!

Soooo, when I first started watching outlander I joined a couple of pages on Facebook, one being the caitrionation page. Yesterday, I saw that someone posted that one lady, idk her name the one that drools all over Sam every time she sees him, article and was like “oh this is why there’s a no shipping rule here.” And after reading some of the more rude or derogatory comments I was like “if you have a no shipping rule, why even post this? To stir the pot?”
This got me some butthurt comments from people who really, just wanted to make fun of a group of people in a fandom, who they don’t know, and whom I consider friends. And I stated as much and was like “YO, let them fan how they want and you fan how you want.”
Because for a page to tout its “shipping free” shouldn’t it go both ways? How about just not posting anything about shipping? Just be purely a fan page.
Long story short, I woke up this afternoon to find they’d booted me from the group. Because I didn’t fall in line with everyone else or just ignore it.
So I spammed all their inboxes with messages. 💕 ship on my lovely friends if that is you. If it’s not you then hey, you keep doing you too. And be fucking kind to each other for fucks sake. Life is too short to be rude about bullshit and not enjoy life.
People like them like to badmouth shippers. It somehow makes them feel like they are “better fans”. I went and looked at the thread (which now has comments locked, but you can still read about how awful we are, just not defend yourself) and there are people’s names on there who have interacted with me, discussed the show at length with me, and have used my ideas in order to start their own pages, articles, and theories. I have seen many of those people post fan art, gifs, videos, book discussion, etc, commenting on how great/smart/talented the person is, AND THAT PERSON IS A SHIPPER.
So, before you tell people to “get a life” or any number of other things, take a look at how you have allowed >100 comments for the sole purpose of shitting on people you steal from.
From what I’ve been told, my comments defending people and stuff have been removed, but the hate raged on. It’s hypocritical on so many levels. When I posted that they may meet shippers at cons or make friends with them in lines for things and learn about them, they don’t know they’re shippers. It’s so awful to compartmentalize a whole population of the fandom like that, knowing nothing. Not remembering that PEOPLE are behind the names on the screens.
And it’s not right and it’s not fair and I’m tired of people tearing other people down for fun. This is why everything is chaos all the goddamned time. And I’m not just going to sit by the wayside or be quiet while people belittle others that I know and care about, because fuck that. They say that shippers are “ridiculous” for letting this rule their lives, yet their taking precious time from their own days to post hate on a page where many of those same people can’t defend themselves or would be attacked if they tried. Who’s really the ridiculous right now?

Today I did one of the hardest things I’ve ever done...
Today I had to say goodbye to my best friend and the best little dog there ever was. Marley loved us unconditionally, was always up for a game of trying to lick your face, was the best snuggler, and was always giving you his big, brown eyes when he wanted something (usually your food). He was so many other things too.
We loved him so much and we were able to give him 9 years of the best life we could. And he gave back to us in ways I don’t know his dog brain could understand. As I held him in the vets office, feeding him peanut butter, I felt the pain medicine take over him. And I held him and rocked him and told him how much I loved him as the vet did her work.
I felt his heart beating. Then I felt it stop. It was fast. So fast. And now I feel as though I betrayed him. I feel like I could have done something more to keep him. But I know that is a selfish thing as he was suffering (he had congestive heart failure). I didn’t want him to be afraid. I wanted him to know I was holding him and loving him completely right until the end.
He took a chunk of my heart with him when he left. And after 20 minutes of cradling him, loving on him for the last time, Boyfriend told me it was time to let go. But how do you let someone take your baby from you? Never to hold him again. Never to kiss his little face or boop noses again. How do you let go?
The most heart wrenching part was letting the vet nurse take him from my arms. I can still feel the weight of him in them. Can still feel his heart working so hard to keep him alive for us. I know in my deepest part of my heart it was the right thing to do. But it doesn’t take away the heartache and pain of having to make this decision.
It hurts to know I’ll never hold him again, never feel him snuggle up to me again and rest his weight on me and fall asleep. I know he’s in a better place now.
I just wish that place was still with me. 💔💔💔

Apparently, my mother is running the Outlander fandom. It is truly 1950′s parenting mentality going on here.

This fandom has always been about policing…but we’ve hit a new low. I swear to God, SH could shit on their dinner tables and they’d eat it up and then chastise the fans who said “eww”. If I see one more Sam’s star is rising and we should be grateful for him taking time out of his precious, more important life than ours to give us Jamie Fraser, I’m going to run screaming into the night. But somehow there are thousands of people who think this mentality is OK and that the rest of the fandom should not be questioning it.
Yes…for the thousandth time…they read the fine print. But that is not the issue, and every knows it. It is about the fact that they have known for weeks…if not months…that they could not make these events. I speculated here yesterday about it being a possible Visa issue, and damned if I didn’t end up being right. But that only makes it worse..he has known he could not attend because of that Visa issue for weeks. So why the last minute apology? Because he was advised not to do it earlier so the Con people would get less grief and ticket sales would continue. And, really Cait? No word yet at all? You do realize that not everyone will be content with you doing Thursday instead of Friday and Saturday, as I’m sure there are plenty who weren’t able to get there by Thursday to begin with.

Ridiculous…
I didn't buy tickets to the con (even though it is not very far from me) because I KNEW that something like this would happen, as it has multiple times in that past with multiple other cons. While there are a lot of other people who I would pay to see (IM TALKING TO YOU RIDER STRONG YOU BEAUTIFUL CHILDHOOD MAN CRUSH) I had a feeling at least one or both of them would cancel. It's pretty par for the course if you look at a lot of the other cons they've canceled.
