real talk for a quick sec unu i’ve added a l’il donation button to the homepage; i know that this is a silly little project, and that i’m not as active with your confessions as i should be, especially that 2 is out in just a few more days !! but money is a little bit tight for me right now, slightly why i’ve been as inactive as i have. truth be told, there’s only one of me running this blog, and i’ve had some irl issues to work out/still working out, on top of actual job-work let me stress though: YOU DO NOT HAVE TO DONATE, IT IS NOT MANDATORY, YOU DO NOT EVEN NEED TO LOOK AT IT IF YOU DON’T WANT TO !!! call me selfish if you’d like, but it just seemed like one way i might be able to work out finances if any of you lovely people wish to support me at all, but again, you don’t have to if you don’t want to/don’t have money either/don’t care about it that’s all, really. if anyone wants to throw me a few bucko’s, i would honestly appreciate it <3

People make a fuss over the Eddie x Waylon ship, but Red Barrels made a valentine message from Gluskin. It's a touchy thing, given the nature of Eddie's psychosis. But there are ways. AU for example.

I wish there was a fic rec for Waylon/Lisa fics because I can never find any and I pray there are some out there. Ship Waylon with whoever you want but most fics seem to disregard Lisa and her marriage to Waylon completely. I also hope there are fic recs for Outlast OCs fics because I know there are some good ones that deserve recognition. This fandom can be very creative if you just dig deep enough.

Confession: I feel like most of the Outlast fans only care for Eddie and the protagonists of both games, especially when it comes to fanfiction. I'm a sucker for Trager and Chris, but it's hard to come across any good fanfiction of them because they're overpowered by Eddie X reader, Eddie X Waylon, etc. Like, come on! Give the army man and crazy Doctor some more love! After all, they are the ORIGINAL antagonists.

There are some things that amaze me. The first is how everyone thinks that you dislike female OCs in Outlast because you think they're variants (when actually is because most of them are written poorly and always make an already bad guy like Glusking suddenly change for them) and the second is how people who ship Waylon x Eddie forget Lisa. I mean, come on, she was the reason he tried to get out of that place...

I want to be truthful about Outlast female OC's... I hate them, but I hate male OC's too. I just have a general hate for any OC's in any fandom, but especially Outlast for some reason? I don't know, but it's not like I'm gonna mention it to you or harass you about it. I have a serious silent hate for Outlast OC's.

I feel really sorry for all of the patients in Outlast. Especially all of the ones that dont attack you. Theyre just so scared and theyve been through a lot. I just hope everyone got proper treatment at the end of the game. I just worry about them.

I like Eddie and Frank and Trager, they are my favorite characters. But I don't like them like, "OMG I luv, protect them!" I like them because I enjoy characters that do the most fucked up shit. They do some pretty nasty things in Outlast, and I LOVE IT.

I LOVE Miles to bits. He is so real and reacts to everything in a relatable way that so many other protagonists in the horror genre just can't do. Reading his notes had been the main highlight throughout the game.
