Something that kind of urks me about "you sound like Hosea. I miss... him." is the fact that Dutch is saying it to distract Arthur from their previous conversation which was the women and children and their safety.

I have previously talked about how in that entire conversation Dutch is just pressing distract distract distract with everything he can, but what makes it worse is that he is using Hosea to distract, and in a way manipulate. He is using Hosea's name to get Arthur on his side in a similar way that he did Annabelle.

With Annabelle he is using her name as an excuse to riot against Colm, and with Hosea he is using his name to get Arthur to just shut up and follow along. Well he tries, Arthur brings him back on track with "I asked you a question," and then when Arthur is done talking about their situation Dutch pulls the "Arthur do you have my back?" Rather than answering the question.
