i don't usually post wips here but I'm liking this one hehe
"Happy Fathers Day Roy. I made you a cake." ( @dc-rose-wilson )
Roy leaned forward, kissing her forehead. “You’re so thoughtful, babe,” he told her quietly, smiling.
"Well you, and Jay are Dads. And Jay went on a run, so his cake is finishing up in the oven."
He pulled her into his arms carefully for a moment, then kissed her forehead again and pulled away to get some plates.
Rose smiled softly, checking over the triplets. They were getting so big, hair getting longer.
Mason stared at Rory, and Cathy made a face when she saw Mama was there and not either of her Daddies.
"Um, Harper? Cathy's about to blow a gasket because she sees my face."
Harper rushed over, picking their daughter up and soothing her. He knew the child loved Rose too, she was just particular.
Cathy ended up soothed, one tiny hand grabbing his hair or shirt gently.
"It's good you shaved your beard." Rose told him.
He nodded in agreement, smiling at their daughter as he spoke. “Also just feels more like me without it.”
"Cathy also always death grips it. I feel bad cause it looks like it really hurts." Rose said, Cathy trying to stick some of her father's shirt in her mouth.
“She gets that from Jay,” Harper laughed as she tugged on his shirt a little. “But it’s also a big reason we keep our weapons locked up now. Last thing we need is her vice gripping an arrow.”
Cathy babbled, as if talking to Harper. Rose leaned down to pick up Rory, his dark hair a stark comparison to his sister.
Little Mason, who slept, had Harper's red hair.
"Their hair always amazes me." Rose commented.
“It’s Jay’s magic that made it possible, the three of us creating life like this,” Harper mused. “I think, at times, he’s scared of how powerful he could become. But he’s learning to love that side of himself too. John helped with that.”
"Yeah." Rose agreed, gently placing a kiss on Rory's face.
He smiled, showing off tiny gums, and Rose's heart melted.
"Oh Harper. He's smiling." Rose said, turning Rory to face Harper.
The little smile widened at the sight of Cathy and Daddy.
Cathy babbled, pleased.
She finally let go of his shirt and he sat her down next to her brother, smiling as he watched them. “I never imagined I’d be so rich in life.”
"I never thought I'd have this in life." Rose agreed, Rory reaching out a chubby hand to Cathy.
Cathy took hold of it, swinging it this way and that.
“We’re very lucky,” he told her, smiling a bit at the tiny sounds their children made.
Mason stirred then, causing Rose to panic momentarily.
Mason let out the sounds of wanting to cry, and Rose gently pulled Rory with her as she got up to check on Mason.
“What smells so good?” Jason asked, making his way down the hall towards them.
“Rose has been baking for us,” Harper explained.

(OOC: sorry other thread was getting too long.)
Kori smiled at Harper, and Rose could swear the room got warmer.
"I would love to join you for dinner. I have brought Tamaran weapons as gifts for the three warriors you've brought to the world. Congratulations, Jason, Harper, and Rose." Kori said, and Rose smiled, serving Kori a good amount of food.
"What a marvelous idea." Donna commented.
“Weapons? Well you're more than welcome in this house then,” Harper joked.
Dick smiled. “Kori is kind and thoughtful.” He could go on and on about her, and probably would if they let him.
Grayson's compliments to Kori made her face go red, and the temperature in the room got even warmer. She leaned her head on his shoulder, relaxed.
Donna was amused, glancing over at Harper. Even Rose was smitten, feeling triumphant.
“I didn’t make any dessert, but we have some cookies form the other day,” Harper told them all. “But let me get you some dinner first, Kori.”
"I'll help you Roy. We're many guests at your home." Donna said, getting up.
Rose shared a sly look with Jason.
Jason chuckled quietly. He could see where this was going.
Harper nodded his thanks and moved to grab Kori a plate and show Donna where the cookies were so she could get them.
Donna went ahead and grabbed the sweet treats, placing them on the table.
Kori was quietly talking to Grayson, asking him if he was okay since he'd been avoiding the team.
Rose got up to check on the babies, feeling that uncomfortable pressure on her breasts.
Jason followed after Rose to help her with their babies since they could be a handful.
“They seem good for each other,” Harper told Donna quietly as he watched Kori and Dick talk to each other. “I’m glad he has people in his life that care enough to help save him.”
"I know you still think he's a danger but Kori is stronger than me. If you saw her battle, you'd feel safe." Her gaze went over to them both. "It also helps that she feels very strongly for him."
Once Rose changed the babies, and they were fed, Rose gave herself a second to gather herself.
"This was nice Jay. Maybe we should do it more often?" She asked shyly.
“He is still a danger. To think otherwise is an insult to is all,” Harper assured her. “But I’d be nowhere now if Jay and Rose hadn't seen past my own danger. I’d be alone in all of this,” he gestured to mean the castle.
“Having people over?” Jason asked to clarify.
"I just don't want you to worry as much about him." Donna replied, looking over at Grayson. Kori was resting her head on his shoulder.
"I think it scares everyone when he hides himself away."
"Yeah. Or...would that be a bad idea?" Rose asked, fixing her bra and shirt. She'd always run it by her husbands at first but there were times when Rose acted first and asked later.
“But people trust Nightwing. Those fingerstripes are iconic for belonging to a good man,” Harper pointed out. Most of the world would never know what Grayson had been through.
“No, it’s good to have friends,” Jason assured her, soothing Cathy when she began to fuss a little.
"Yeah." Donna agreed, quiet. And it was true. Though that could be a good thing, there was no telling how long it would be before Grayson was himself. Or even if that was a possibility.
"We can only give him time, Harper."
"Friends." Rose echoed, picking at the end of her shirt. "Yeah. They're our friends."
And it felt nice to admit that, to say that, especially when Rose had only ever relied on herself, then gradually her husbands.
And now? She had friends.
“No one is trying to rush him,” Harper sssured her. He wanted Dick to be okay for Jason’s sake, but he knew it wouldn’t be over night.
"Thank you for cooking by the way." Donna told him, kissing his cheek. She headed back with the others, listening to Grayson freely speak with Kori.
He was more sane when Kori was present, Donna noticed.
Harper paused when she kissed him. It was such a chaste moment and yet he was blushing beyond control, so he took a moment to calm himself down before bringing Kori a plate and cookies for the others.
But Rose had seen, her eyebrows raised. A smile tugged on her face, and she gestured at her face.
"Like a tomato."
“Oh shut up,” he told her with affectionate sarcasm.
Then Rose kissed his cheek, moving to sit with the others.
Kori was running a gentle hand through Grayson's hair, while her free hand pet Hayley. Rose couldn't stop the wave of giddiness seeing them act so tenderly towards one another.
"You don't have to hide from me, Grayson." Kori told him.
Harper offered Kori the plate of food. “If it’s cold I can always heat it up for you.”
“My star,” Dick told her quietly.
"Thank you, Your Majesty-I mean, Harper." Kori said, flashing a serene smile at him.
She turned back to Grayson.
"Yes?"
“You burn so beautifully,” Grayson replied.
Harper, who was still reeling a bit from Kori treating him like royalty, grabbed one of the cookies to start eating while he watched them, fascinated that Dick seemed so calm around her.
It was peaceful which surprised Rose. She held on to her husbands hands, watching them all with a soft smile.
It was such a nice feeling.
“Thank you,” Grayson eventually told them all.
“For what?” Harper asked.
“A second chance.”
"It was no problem." Rose said, and her tone was relaxed.
Donna smiled and Kori held Grayson a little closer.
“Forever grateful,” he told her quietly.
Rose didn't see any of this coming. She wondered if Grayson did.
She didn't ask, letting the future be the future.
"I will take my leave. Grayson, I think it is best Kori takes you home. Harper, Jason, and Rose thank you for the meal. Truly." Donna told them.
Grayson nodded, but Harper hesitated. “Troia…I just mean if you ever need any help out there, you know how to contact us.”
Donna smiled at Harper.
"I know. I'll keep it in mind, okay?" She replied, and Rose agreed, nodding.
Harper nodded with an almost hopeful smile, uncharacteristic for him.
Jason shared an amused glance with Rose.
Donna gave a wave goodbye before she stepped out the door and closed it behind her
"You could have kissed her goodbye Harper." Rose said softly.
“I still barely know her,” he pointed out.
Rose crossed her arms at him.
"Who said they're not afraid to sleep with the enemy?"
“Maybe I want to try dating her first,” Harper pointed out, folding his arms.
“She likes flowers,” Dick told him.
"Huh. I'm impressed." Rose said, still smiling.
Kori was watching the scene, amused. She'd kiss Grayson's face every now and again.
“Why? You don’t think I can be romantic?” Harper asked her.
"Harper, you have a husband and wife and triplets; what do you think?" Rose asked.
“You seemed surprised,” he told her with a chuckle.
“Just don’t break her heart,” Grayson commented, sounding more like himself again. “I’d hate to have to break your legs.”
Harper looked at him. “Yeah, that’s fair.”
Rose laughed softly, but she simple shook her head.
"Shovel talk."
Kori looked confused but didn't ask.
“I promise to be respectful,” Harper told Dick, who seemed to relax a bit at that.
"Good, because she's scary." Rose said, tugging at her husbands hands to sit with her.
"But she is very loyal." Kori added.
Jason sat easily, but Harper hesitated before he did too. “The Titans are back together then?” he asked Kori and Dick.
“Not their leader right now. Donna is. But yes,” Grayson replied. “Miss being Nightwing.”
Kori kissed Grayson's cheek.
"You just need time to recover." She told him, and Rose looked at Harper.
He looked worried and she squeezed his hand.
“We have faith in you,” Jason sssured his brother. “The world needs Nightwing.”
Harper’s emerald eyes focused on Rose as he squeezed her hand back in return.

Donna smiled and Kori held Grayson a little closer.
“Forever grateful,” he told her quietly.
Rose had only got up to go to the restroom, pulling a bathrobe on.
She tried not to disturb Jason and Rose, wadding to their connecting restroom.
She rubbed her belly as she went, eyes closed.
Then when she was done, a strange wetness came out of her.
Rose slowly stood up, finally noticing her belly was lower than usual.
"Oh no..." she said, wincing as she felt a wave of contractions hit her, gripping the bathroom counter. She wasn't aware of her movements, soap and hairbrushes falling on the floor loudly.
( @dc-rose-wilson )
Harper ran in, fearing that she’d maybe passed out, arms around her. “What is i—oh,” he realized what was happening. “Jason?”
Jason rushed when Harper used his full name, pausing in the bathroom doorway. “Get her to the bed. I can clean up with mess with magic later,” he told Roy.
“Come on babe,” Harper directed Rose towards the bed.
"It's fine. And if it's not, I'll make it fine." Rose promised.
Donna put her hand on his back, gently guiding him forward.
"The Queen has spoken." She told him.
“Will behave,” Dick promised, following with Haley at his side, loyal as ever.
He was nervous though, doubting himself. What if one of the cracks broke through around the kids and he lost himself in memories again? He wouldn’t be violent, he’d just zone out, but still.
Once they made it to her home, Rose opened the door.
"I have guests!" She called out to Harper and Jason.
Harper pulled a knife on instinct, watching Dick and Donna very carefully.
“Hello Troia,” he commented, putting the weapon away when he realized she was there to protect the kids too.
Jason, who had felt them cross his wards because they were welcome there, just smiled.
Donna stepped up though, hand on his knife.
"You like this knife?" She aksed him.
Rose kissed Harper's cheek in greeting and kissed Jason’s as well.
“You can’t fault me for being cautious around my children,” Harper pointed out.
"I understand but you didn't answer my question; are you attached to this knife?" Donna repeated.
Rose looked curious, staring at Jason with a questioning look as if he had the answer.
Jason just shrugged, and Dick watched with keen interest while Haley ran around everyone’s legs.
“I’m fond of all my weapons. I’m picky about what I use,” Harper answered.
Donna rummaged through the kitchen, grabbing a kitchen knife.
She showed it off, normal knife that Rose had used to cut carrots, and jammed it into the side of her neck.
Rose covered her mouth and gasped.
Then Donna pulled it back and the knife was bent at an odd angle. Her neck was unscathed.
"Your knife would have been broken."
“No, don’t—” Jason started to say, but Grayson was being oddly calm so he didn’t actually try to stop her.
Harper just stared her down. “I wasn’t going to use it on you, it was instinct to pull it,” he assured her.
"I know but I would have felt bad for your knife." She told him, straightening out the kitchen knife.
Rose looked relieved, holding Jason's hand.
“Won’t hold the babies, but want to see them?” Dick commented quietly, like he was afraid they’d say no.
Harper just watched Donna straighten the knife and tried not to think about what it meant that he thought that was kind of hot.
Donna turned, also wanting to see.
"I can bring Rory or Mason, but Jason or Harper have to bring Cathy. She'll cry if it's not them holding her." Rose said, heading upstairs.
Jason turned to go with Rose to get Cathy.
Harper looked back at Donna and Dick. “You ever hurt her again I’ll kill you,” he promised the other man. Eyes turning to Donna he added, “No matter who protects you.” A promise more than a threat, and hopefully one he wouldn’t have to enact.
“Understood,” Dick told him, because that was honestly fair. Even if he felt equally matched to Harper when it came to skills. It would be an interesting fight if it ever happened.
Interest lit Donna's eyes and she watched him as he left. She knew she was superior to Harper's skills but she still loved a challenge.
Meanwhile, Rose gently scooped up Rory and Mason in her arms, both babies sleeping soundly.
She carefully made her way back down.
Jason picked Cathy up, unfortunately waking her. Luckily she just smiled at him and blinked.
“Our children,” Harper announced proudly when they got back.
"I told you Cathy loves her Daddies." Rose stated, handing over Mason to Harper. The baby stirs but falls back asleep, Rory still sleeping in Mama's arms.
"They're so small." Donna says in awe.
Grayson’s eyes lit up with longing. He wanted what the had, a family of his own, but he was happy for them too. Unfortunately his future was the only one he couldn’t see, so he didn’t even know if it was possible for him. “Big futures though,” he marveled.
Jason raised an eyebrow at that. “What did you see?” he asked.
Dick tilted his head, wondering if they really wanted to know.
"Would you like to hold him?" Rose asked, Rory swaddled so cozy.
That wasn’t an answer, so he didn’t share their futures. But he did look surprised at her question. “Me?”
"Yes, you." Rose said, holding out Rory to him gently.
Rory slept, face only twitching when she moved, his breathing nice and steady.
Dick hesitated, then stepped forward and held the infant. He was so careful even Haley stopped to watch him.
Harper watched somewhat nervously, only calming down at the feeling of Jason’s hand on his back.
Rory sensed that a different person was holding him, and he opened his eyes, looking around.
"Their eyesight isn't there yet but he can hear sound." Rose explained, gently brushing his forehead.
It worked, and Rory closed his eyes.
Donna just about melted, glancing at Mason and Cathy.
"Two strong boys and a mighty girl! How wonderful." Donna commented.
“They walk the red path,” he explained. “Connected to nature. The Red.” The web of life, Dick realized, no wonder he’d seen spiders in their futures.
“That sounds ominous,” Harper replied. “Should we be worried?”
Dick shook his head. “No, you're all happy.”
Eventually.
He left the part out but implied.
But Rose noticed. She always did.
"Enough of future talk please." Rose said firmly.
Donna slowly inched her way closer to Rose, wanting to hold Mason.
”Trying to stay in the moment,” Dick assured her with a sigh. “The lines blur. Sorry. I’ll do better.”
"You wanna hold him?" Rose asked Donna and she nodded, another baby in another person's arms.
Then Rose had an idea, gesturing her husbands to come closer.
Jason placed an arm around her and Harper stepped closer, curious.
"I know we said Roy would be the godfather and the last resort if we ya know, died, but what about Donna and Grayson?" Rose gestured at them.
“Would it make you feel better to have the backup plan?” Harper asked. He didn’t like it, but he did trust her motherly intuition too.
"Well, Donna and Grayson do live in our realm. And John did tell us to use him and Roy as a last resort. Donna and Grayson can be the resort before them." Rose explained.
In the background, Donna was gently rocking Mason, cooing at his baby cheeks.
“She has a point, Harper,” Jason told him.
“Yeah, but Grayson is still not stable,” Harper argued. “Troia though, I trust her for some reason.”
"Cause you like her." Rose teased, not helping herself.
Donna was too busy smelling Mason, and checking on Grayson to pay attention to what they were saying.
“That’s not…a thing,” Harper insisted.
Jason just grinned, sharing a glance with Rose.
"Harper you're blushing. And your ears are red." Rose said.
Donna sat down on the couch, staring at the tiny baby.
Harper folded his arms across his chest like he always did when he got defensive. “Am not.”
“So small with so much ahead,” Grayson commented as he looked at all the babies. “Miracles. Tiny miracles.”
But Rose was smiling softly, touching Roy's chest.
"I can feel your emotions when you look at Donna."
Donna was checking in on Grayson as she held the baby.
“Fuck,” Harper told them. “I don’t need anyone else but you two.” He didn’t want to get attached to anyone else, it was bad enough he felt for John the way he did. “This is so inconvenient.”
"We just want you happy." Rose told Harper as she held Jason’s hand, careful not to disturb Cathy.
“It’s okay,” Jason agreed with a soft smile.
“Fuck,” Harper muttered again as he glanced at Donna.
Donna who didn't look tired of looking at Harper's baby and was actually cooing at him.
"If you decide, at least you'll know she loves your kids." Rose pointed out.
“That’s not…it’s not going to become a thing,” Roy told them with a frown. He didn’t need any more attachments in this war.
"Don't lie to your bonded pair. It feels weird." Rose said.
"How do you feel Grayson?" Donna asked.
“I agree with Rose,” Jason told him, and Harper just frowned.
“They are so small, but fill me with comfort,” Grayson responded. He’d always liked kids.
"I can be your hype-woman!" Rose said, kissing Cathy's little head.
"They do. They will grow strong and mighty." Donna commented.
“Babies have so many futures, no set scenes to play out in my head,” Dick explained. “It’s refreshing.”
“Are you sure you’re, like, actually okay?” Harper asked Dick.
“Good days and bad. More of the first than the later, but not a danger,” he replied.
"Donna can I have Mason? It's time for me to breastfeed the babies. Harper, Donna, can you start on dinner please? Enough for 5 please." Rose said, Donna agreeing and handing over Mason, then heading over to Harper.
"What say you?" Donna asked, towering over Harper.
“Hope you’re not a vegetarian,” was all he said, motioning for her to follow him to the large kitchen.
Grayson picked Haley up and tilted his head as he asked Rose, “What do…I do?”
"You can relax, Grayson." Rose said, going up the stairs.
Donna followed after Donna.
"I'm not. I love meat."
“Good, we’re making steak gorgonzola,” he told Donna. “It’s Jay’s favorite, and Rose needs the protein.”
"I have never made that. Tell me what to do." Donna said, washing her hands.
Meanwhile, Rose set the babies in their cribs, nice and snug, and she checked in on Jason.
"You okay?" She asked softly.
Harper started getting the ingredients out that they’d need, bowling water for the pasta.
“I’m alright,” Jason assured her, passing Cathy over so she could eat. “More worried about you.”
At Rose holding Cathy, Cathy scrunched up her face and cried.
Rose sighed and fed Cathy.
"I'm okay, babe. Honest."
Donna sliced whatever Harper handed her, and mixed the ingredients together.
Grayson had followed after Donna and Harper, Haley in tow, which left Jason to express his concerns openly.
“I just know this has all be a lot,” he told her. “You carried these tiny humans for months, and now that they’re here they still depend on you. Promise me you’ll ask for breaks when you need them? We can bottle feed them sometimes to let you sleep.”
"Oh, babe. Is that why you're worried?" Rose said, reaching up and cupping his face gently.
Her eyes were soft on him.
"Of course I'll tell you or Harper. You're my husbands after all." Rose assured him.
Donna was mixing ingredients, listening to Harper's directions to the letter.
She focused on hin, which must have flustered him because he would stutter or blush.
It was cute.
“Of course I’m worried,” Jason told her. “I’m always going to worry about you.”
“This is the part where we pretend not to notice,” Grayson told Haley jokingly.
“Shut up, Grayson,” Harper told him as he seared the steak.
Rose had only got up to go to the restroom, pulling a bathrobe on.
She tried not to disturb Jason and Rose, wadding to their connecting restroom.
She rubbed her belly as she went, eyes closed.

John took out a knive and turned to Jason.
Lets do this so we can get out of your hair and you three can rest.
@dc-rose-wilson
Rose seemed to watch John and Jason with careful eyes, waiting to see what would happen next.
( @arrowsnsarcasm )
“How exactly does it work?” Harper asked a bit nervously.
Jason took the knife, waiting for instructions.
We connect my blood with his, is a bit like a blood pact, it'll let me know if he dies, but itll also let him know if I die, its a two way street. It doesnt hurt much, just the cut.
@dc-rose-wilson
"Out of curiosity, will you also feel Harper's and I bond to Jason?" Rose asked. She was a little hesitant on sharing that level of intimacy to John as well.
( @arrowsnsarcasm )
“Nah, this is a different kind of bond,” Roy assured her. He knew at least that much even though most of it went over his head.
Jason cut his palm and held his hand out in offer to John.
@john-brendan-knowles
Not at all.
He promised her and cut his palm, firmly grabbing Jason's. Both of their eyes glowed as he spoke the words of the spell and a bit of his blood went into Jasons body and some of Jay's went into John, tying them together.
Its done then
@dc-rose-wilson
"...that was fast. How do ya'll feel?" Rose asked, looking at Jason and John.
( @arrowsnsarcasm )
Jason’s eyes flickered to gold as the power set in and he tilted his head a bit. “I don’t feel any different.”
“But it worked, right?” Harper asked.
@john-brendan-knowles
It did. I feel the spell, you should be able to do it too if you focus.
@dc-rose-wilson
Rose is gently watching over Rory and Mason, and checking in on Cathy.
She's feeling a little restless, especially since she needs to pump.
"Please excuse me." She tells them, going downstairs to the restroom.
( @arrowsnsarcasm )
”Ah, there it is,” Jason realized with glowing eyes.
“We should probably leave them to it,” Roy told John, offering him a hand.
@john-brendan-knowles
Yeah... yeah, in a minute
He smiled at his husband and went to Harper and hugged him, his hand slipping into his jacket pocket discreetly to leave a small vial of his blood and a note that said "Jason will know how to use this if you ever need it, be safe".
I've got your back, Harper, okay? Never worry about that. Now go take care of your family, I'll visit.
John then went back to his husband and opened a portal home.
Good luck guys
@dc-rose-wilson
Rose, coming back, looked surprised as they got ready to leave.
"T...thank you for coming. And for accepting for being the godparents of our kids." Rose said
( @arrowsnsarcasm )
“Of course,” Roy told her, smiling. “You’re basically family at this point.”
Harper nodded his thanks to John. “Maybe we’ll have some fun next time,” he offered. “Rose says I can be a slut, so…” He shrugged. And Jason chuckled.
@john-brendan-knowles
Of course, Rose.
John smiled at her and then turned back to Harper laughing quietly.
You're off your leash then?
He smirked and moved a bit closer.
Then I can say goodbye properly...
John kissed him just to tease him and because he wanted to before going back to his husband and holding his hand.
Let's go home now
He said, waving to the other three while walking into the portal with Roy.
@dc-rose-wilson
Rose seemed to be more subdued as they left, glancing at Harper.
"Well...it's done at least." She said, checking over the kids.
Finally, she had been near clenching her teeth.
“Thank you for humoring me and trusting my judgment,” Harper told her, walking over to kiss her forehead.
Jason’s eyes stopped glowing as the portal closed and he took a seat on a nearby chair, a bit winded. “He makes that look so easy, but I’m still building up the muscle memory for it magically I guess.”
"Ugh, I'm exhausted. There was so many people and I felt like I was just standing rigid." Rose sighed, finally relaxing.
"It went well."
“What can I do?” Harper asked her, wanting to help her feel better.
"I'm okay now." Rose replied, sitting on the bed and wrapping the blanket around herself.
"Before I forget, Donna texted. Grayson wants to reach out to us. I don't think he knows the babies are born but he does have those Oracle powers so." Rose shrugged.
“Are you okay with seeing him again? It’s okay if you’re not,” Harper told her, folding his arms across his chest.
"I'm nervous which is why I want you both to stay back and watch over our kids." Rose asked, looking at the both of them.
“What? Absolutely not! What if he hurts you again?” Harper asked, in disbelief.
“Babe,” Jason placed a careful hand on his shoulder, carrying their daughter in his other arm. “He’s not that way anymore thanks to John.”
“I know, but it makes me nervous,” Harper admitted, frowning.
"I am scared but it scares me more if he were to come here." Rose said, gently smoothing the babies hair away from their faces.
"Please."
“I won’t keep you locked up here like some fairy tale princess, I know you can handle yourself. Just promise me you’ll be careful?” Harper asked her.
"I swear to be careful." Rose told him, holding his hand gently.
Harper nodded. “When do you want to go?”
Jason laid Cathy back in her crib now that she was sleeping again.
"I should probably go right now." Rose replied. "And i won't be alone. Donna is going to chaperone Grayson."
Harper tensed, relaxing a bit when he felt Jasons’s hand on his hip. “Okay,” he told her. “Good luck with him.”
Rose went over and hugged them both.
"I love you. I won't be long, okay?" She told them, kissing their cheeks gently.
“Love you too,” Jason told her.
Harper reached for her hand and squeezed it, smiling softly.
Rose had put on her gear, letting Jason ward it as she headed out.
She was nervous, meeting them Donna and Grayson in a semi-public ruins of a park.
She sat down, and patiently waited, eyes scanning the area.
Haley approached first, running up to Rose and licking her hand. Grayson had already taught her who friends were, but she was very protective around enemies.
When Dick approached he was in his suit too, but one he hadn’t worn in a while, not the Talon costume. Fingerstripes and all, he was Nightwing again. “You came. Wasn’t sure you’d want to see me.”
"Well, yeah." Rose replied, gently petting the puppy.
She was so cute, it was hard to believe she was a hellhound.
Donna came up from the back, giving a slight wave.
Rose didn't realize she was tensed until she saw her and her shoulders relaxed.
"What's the meeting about?"
“I see outcomes I can’t undo, but some I can change, and it’s about past sins and compromise and guilt…I’m rambling.” He frowned, pausing to clear his head. “I still get a little…lost? Sometimes?” He pointed at his head to indicate mentally. “Which is to say penance. This meeting is about penance. I’ve danced on the webs of fate for too long, and I never asked you what you want for your forgiveness.”
Rose was quiet, listening in.
"I want my teacher back." She replied simply.
“So much to teach, but you've learned so much already without me. I…would be honored to try anyway,” Dick told her. Haley licked at her hand as if to ask for pets.
Rose pet her, scratching under Haley's chin gently.
"And...I don't want you to hurt my kids."
“Can teach them too! Wait, no, too early for that,” he realized. “I still get timelines mixed up.”
Rose watched him, feeling less wary as she kept petting Hayley.
"Congratulations on your children, Rose." Donna said.
"Thank you." Rose said, nodding her head.
“They inherent a more peaceful kingdom someday,” Dick promised her. “This war does end.”
"They also get something else. A home." Rose replied, putting Hayley on her lap to properly give her scritches.
Dick nodded, he’d seen it. “Someday, when you're rest, would love to meet them. I’ve seen their paths, but never if I’m in it. Your choice, not mine,” Dick clarified.
"I think I should discuss it with my husbands beforehand. That's a choice too big for me to do alone." Rose said.
“Fair. Would too,” he agreed, trying to imagine being in her shoes. Empathy was something he had to actively work at since the Court, but he was trying.
Rose was still petting Hayley, feeling her courage slip.
"Um...are you back to you? Honest?" Rose rushed to ask, remembering his games of pretending to be sane so he could hurt her when she got close enough.
“Broken pieces are still settling in,” he pointed at his head. “But will never hurt you again.” That was the honest truth as he knew it.
"What say you Hayley? You agree?" Rose asked the puppy, picking her up to look at her properly.
Haley made a happy whining noise as she licked Rose’s face.
“She helps,” Dick told her.
"She's very cute." Rose said, thinking it over.
"Um...Grayson, Donna? Would you like to come to my home?"
Dick glanced at Donna as if to ask if it was okay, something like gratitude in his eyes that Rose was even asking.
Donna nodded.
"I too wanna see the young infants." She admitted, and Rose carried Hayley with her as she lead the way.
Dick looked down at himself and what he was wearing, then took his mask off. “Royalty. Not dressed for royalty. They deserve better.”

John took out a knive and turned to Jason.
Lets do this so we can get out of your hair and you three can rest.
@dc-rose-wilson
@dc-rose-wilson
@john-brendan-knowles
Not at all.
He promised her and cut his palm, firmly grabbing Jason's. Both of their eyes glowed as he spoke the words of the spell and a bit of his blood went into Jasons body and some of Jay's went into John, tying them together.
Its done then
@dc-rose-wilson
@john-brendan-knowles
It did. I feel the spell, you should be able to do it too if you focus.
@dc-rose-wilson
@john-brendan-knowles
Yeah... yeah, in a minute
@dc-rose-wilson
@john-brendan-knowles
@dc-rose-wilson
"Please."

John took out a knive and turned to Jason.
Lets do this so we can get out of your hair and you three can rest.
@dc-rose-wilson
@dc-rose-wilson
@john-brendan-knowles
Not at all.
He promised her and cut his palm, firmly grabbing Jason's. Both of their eyes glowed as he spoke the words of the spell and a bit of his blood went into Jasons body and some of Jay's went into John, tying them together.
Its done then
@dc-rose-wilson
@john-brendan-knowles
It did. I feel the spell, you should be able to do it too if you focus.
@dc-rose-wilson
@john-brendan-knowles
Yeah... yeah, in a minute
@dc-rose-wilson
@john-brendan-knowles
@dc-rose-wilson
