27 year old Sasha is in need of a life-saving liver transplant. Her referrals have been denied because doctors have mischaracterized her as "seeking drugs" for seeking out medical help before getting to the point of organ failure.
Because of this, Sasha is being denied care and essentially told to "go home and die" by Sutter Roseville Medical Center in Northern California. (home to where? her roommates kicked her out and she has nowhere to go.)
A potential transfer to an LA hospital is possible, but dangerous, as she could destabilize any moment. She has less than a month to live if she doesn't receive medical intervention.
