I'm back and am now 17 :L
I hope everyone had a good Christmas and is well on their way to having a fantabulous new year xx
I'm currently working on a reply to Cel whilst listening to Jahmene Douglas because he's a babe and I'm addicted xx
Lucy: I'm finding it increasingly hard to write these paras with Celeste because I haven't told many people in this little RPG bubble about what has happened in the last few months and how it has affected me. When I write I tend to be driven by a character's emotions which is usually why my plots go to pot majority of the time. When I'm writing as myself and try to write the way I normally do I sometimes hit a wall because my real life emotions influence my fictional ones. It's hard to write about the way real life things are making me feel because I haven't said what's happening and if I'm 100% honest I'm still trying not to believe it. I suppose its guessable that I lost someone close to me and that I'm hurting but I haven't shared much more than that especially not the who or the how much. I feel like I should've said something when it happened but I didn't because I was struggling to deal with things. These things have now turned into the monsters under my bed, the shadows in the corner and the things that go bump in the night - I can't get away from the truth anymore which is scary. I don't know why I can't just type the words and press post. Struggling back then was pointless because it sent me down in the quick sand faster, I'm losing touch with most things including reality now and I've got no one to pull me out. I hardly speak to the friends I made in this RPG anymore which is sad because I have a feeling I'd have dealt a little better knowing I could talk to them. I talk to Celeste but she doesn't know the thing I'm skirting around writing right now. I'm sorry to have written all that and not really said anything definitive.
A New Start| Celeste/Lucy 2
The young girl with now bright pink hair sighed. She had been walking for what seemed like days with 2 backpacks, a guitar case and a suitcase in her hands. She saw a bench and smiled wide, it was like heaven to sit down. She didn’t know where she was going or where she was but, she just wanted to keep going. To get away from it all. She dropped her suitcase next to her and pulled her backpacks off onto the bench. She took a deep breath and took off her converse sneakers and rubbed her feet. She let out another sigh as she started digging through the one backpack. She found her cellphone, it was a smart phone and held all her music on it. She put in her headphones and turned on the music but, as she did she got a call.
“Celeste, where did you go? I miss you!” “I needed to leave, get out of that town is a box. Everyone was mean there anyway. Besides you and a few others.” The two talked for a few minutes and then she hung up the phone. She sighed once more and laid down on the bench and fell asleep
Lucy was sat under the large willow tree with her guitar and her note pad as she wrote, sang and played her feelings away. As she paused to check the time on her phone, she noticed pink haired girl struggling with a lot of bags sitting on a bench, rubbing her feet. Lucy decided she looked quite lonely and so she gathered her things back into her bag and clutched her guitar by the neck. She smoothed her sundress and emerged from underneath the long leafy curtains she’d hidden behind. She meandered towards the solitary girl at a leisurely pace.
“Hi, I’m Lucy. Do you play?” She asked tentatively gesturing to the guitar case by the girl’s feet. Lucy perched on the other end of the bench and curled her legs beneath her and rested her guitar on her lap. She took her bag from her shoulder and set it beside her and then looked expectantly at the pink haired girl before her.
The girl sighed as she relaxed as much as she could. She thought about her life, she had run away from home. She couldn’t take it much more, she had to leave. She took a few deep breaths and then sat straight up and leaned back into the bench in a slouched manner.“Hi, I’m Lucy. Do you play?” She heard. At first she just thought it was all in her head. No one talked to her when they saw her walking. You see a girl with bright pink hair, a band t-shirt that looked a bit abnormal and skinny jeans, people usually just looked the other way. Especially when the hair was spiked or in that “Scene” Style.
The girl shook her head as she looked around to see a girl talking to her. “Oh, hey. I’m Celeste.” She said thinking for a moment. “Play? Oh, no. I-uh.” Celeste stopped realizing she had to be careful with what she said. If she let the wrong person know she was a runaway and had no home, who knows what could happen to her. “I’m learning. Trying i guess. You?” She asked carefully.
“That’s a pretty name. I play a bit, sort of learning too as well I guess. I sing more than I play – d’you sing?” Lucy asked, smiling in delight at finding a guitarist. None of her friends played the guitar so they thought of Lucy as a novelty when it came to their gatherings. She’d be made to play song after song until eventually she hadn’t a voice left – she didn’t mind though, Lucy never minded.
“Is pink your favourite colour?” She asked, she couldn’t take her eyes of Celeste’s hair. She also couldn’t seem to stem the flow of question coming from her red painted lips. Lucy tucked a strand of her hair back into her thick braid and giggled internally at how different the two of them were.
Celeste smiled at the girl as she complimented her. She thought about how to answer her question. “I sing a little but, i have stage fright so it’s hard.” She said smiling, she didn’t know how to take this person talking to her. It was odd, different even. She didn’t know if she should trust her or not.
“Oh, my hair? haha. No, I tried dying it red but, hot pink is what happened to it.” The girl laughed as she began to get lost in nostalgia about the times that were so good to her. She never knew what to do anymore so she ran but, she still had friends that called her and loved her to bits. So she couldn’t leave forever.
“I get scared too, but the rush after performing is amazing. It’s worth the hours of feeling nauseas beforehand.” Lucy smiled back at Celeste. It was true. - she felt the worst right before and the best afterwards.
“You should come to my concert tonight, my support act dropped out his morning and everyone is freaking out. I came here to get away from all that” Lucy admitted. She did feel slightly guilty about the worry she was currently putting her team through by running off for a few hours but they knew how she was under too much pressure so in a way it served them right.
“I could get Simone to dye it red if you want – he’s my stylist and he’s amazing. You’ll love him.” Lucy said, smiling even more than before at the thought of her flamboyant ‘Italian’ stylist who actually came from Birmingham. When she went back she’d go to him first – he’d be least angry.
“Really? Maybe I’ll try it sometime then. Just need to learn guitar first.” The girl said the last sentence a bit softer then the rest. Celeste listened to the girl as she asked her to help. “What would i have to do?” She asked lightly, excited by the idea of finally getting a chance to do something. “It sounds great!” She said once more. She just might have to keep a smaller profile about it all.
“That’d be great! I need it changed because it doesn’t match anything in my wordrobe!” she laughed. “This is so exciting!” She practically yelled as she stood up and tried grabbing all of her stuff but, it falls to the floor.
“You’d have to play five songs; they can be covers if you want. If you can’t play them, just sing with my band – they’re always messing around with covers so I’m sure if you talk to them you can work something out. You’ll do it?” Lucy asked amazed, she hadn’t thought she’d be able to find a replacement act on her own. Neither had anyone else which is why they hadn’t asked her.
Lucy giggled when Celeste dropped all her things and rose to help her. She slung her own guitar on her back and her bag across her chest and held out her hands.
“Pile me up – I can’t have you breaking every bone in your body when you’ve just agreed to help me out!” Lucy exclaimed, laughing still at Celeste’s excitement.
Celeste looked at the girl and smiled even wider. It was a big gummy smile. She was so excited, until the butterflies and nausea set in. “I can! I mean, depending on how many notes are in the song. I’m not very good but, i can try!” She said as hyper as can be.
“T-thanks but, you don’t have to! I have carried these bags for miles on end and I’m A-ok!” She laughed as she tried again only falling to her feet this time. She stood up and looked down and sighed. “Thanks.” She said as she handed her another bag or two and carried the rest with ease.
“Thank you so much. This is so exciting!” She said as she waited for her next instructions.
“You don’t know how much of a life saver you are right now! Tonight is going to be amazing!” Lucy said, Celeste’s enthusiastic excitement was catching. Lucy started to walk along the path as she adjusted the bags she was carrying so her hands were free to fish out her phone from her bag. She sent a quick text to her security guard, Newton – she told him where she was and in seconds she had a reply saying he was waiting in the car at the entrance to the park.
“Newton is going to meet us in my car and drive us back to my hotel.” Lucy said and walked a little bit faster, hoping Celeste would keep up with her. The park gate was in sight and Lucy could see Newton leaning against the hood of the black car.
“Running away again are we, Lulu?” Newton asked with a smile which Lucy returned easily. She was surprised he wasn’t angry at her for giving him the slip early that morning but she didn’t dwell on it.
“You know me too well, Newt. This is Celeste, she’s my new support act and we need to go and see Simone before soundcheck – is that okay?” Lucy asked, Newton agreed and put all of Celeste’s bags in the boot of the car along with Lucy’s guitar. Lucy slid over to the far side of the back seat and waited for Celeste to join her.
Celeste nodded and walked a bit faster, despite the blisters her feet had. She was excited, maybe she could get a permanent gig out of this. Better yet, a permanent home. The young colorful girl smiled as she could see someone leaning up against a black car.
Celeste chuckled at the running away comment. She didn’t know why she was being so quiet these days but, it seemed to work better for her. Lucy introduced Celeste and she smiled and shrugged. “Sound check and a quick rundown of the chords!” Celeste said looking at lucy quickly.
Celeste got into the car and scooted next to Lucy as she watched her stuff be put into the car. She took a deep breath, all of that stuff was so important to her she was almost terrified to have someone else actually handle it. She couldn’t lose any of it.
i wish this group had a fresh. Dead set one of the best RP's on tumblr, I remember this blog and how I loved Amanda/Carly/Jason interactions and Elles hating of the world, Shannons big sisterness and Lucys innocence. I miss it.
Lucy: I miss it too, anon xx
