Request: So all of those angst prompts remind me of stuff Dally would say tbh. So could you make an imagine where Dally gets really angry at some Socs saying revolting stuff about you?
Haha Dally’s so terrifying when he’s angry but it makes me happy?? Anyways
I could hear their conversation about me, those four Socs talked about disgusting and degrading things. I played with the bottom of my shirt and rubbed the fabric in between my fingers, controlling my fear. I don’t know why I was so scared of them, maybe it was how they looked at me with that steel look in their eyes. The look that told me they wanted something from me.
I went inside, scanning the place to find Dally. “Hey there,” I mumbled, forcing myself to show a tight smile. Dally raised an eyebrow at me, showing his concern for my obvious stress. He was trying to listen to what a guy was saying to him but he kept eyeing me suspiciously as I stared at the floor and only shot up when someone entered. He nudged me in the ribs a little sharply because I couldn’t stand still.
“All right man, I’ll see you later.” He nodded and shook the guy’s hand.
“What was that all about? I swear I couldn’t even focus on the guy you were moving so much.” I walked a little faster, separating ourselves from the small diner.
“Nothing, let’s just go somewhere else.” I said through gritted teeth impatiently.
“Hey!” Dally said sternly, his voice turning into that low and dangerous tone that scared me so much. He squinted his eyes at me and I could see the the fire behind them, scorching me.
“Tell me what’s going on,” he glowered. It’s like I could see a steam coming from him.
I had never seen Dally so enraged. He tried to keep his cool around me, but I had heard what he could do. In that moment, I felt a chill run through me and I shuddered.
“Can you promise me you won’t hurt them, no matter what I tell you?” He shifted his weight onto one leg, slouching.
“No,” he growled. That’s the best I could do and I stared at the boys coldly, nodding my head in their direction. Dally spinned around to see the boys looking at us and bobbing their heads in laughter, whistling. Their grins were like daggers in our direction, smiling maliciously.
“They were just saying all of this uncomfortable stuff about me and I needed to find you-“
“What kind of stuff?” Dally scoffed, his eyes glowing with anger.
“I think you know,” I whispered, regretting saying anything and shrunk back from his touch.
“Dally, it’s no big deal, let’s go-“
“I will kill ANYONE who looks at you the way I look at you.” He snapped. I would of been blushing and hugging him in that moment if there wasn’t people he actually was going to kill right then and there.
Before I could persuade him not to go any further, he strode towards them. Dally pulled one of them up by the shirt in one motion and I thought I could see the guy’s head spin. All of the others stood up and ran to the other end of the table, rushing to get away from Dally. I dashed behind him, attempting to make myself smaller.
“What did you say about her? I freaking hope you know who I am,” Dally barked. The guy he was holding by the neck flinched and his stormy eyes bugged out. He was silent and opened his mouth, but nothing came out.
“I’m going to ask one more time before I don’t hesitate to hurt you. What did you say about her?” He said in that dark tone he had used earlier. They looked like they were ready to make a run for it as they took short steps toward the sidewalk.
“It was stupid, really. A couple dirty jokes, that’s all. She seems kind of easy to get with, the quiet type are always the best. I mean, she’s dating you.”
A guy with light brown hair shook. His ocean blue eyes glistened like he was on the edge of tears. Those words seemed to cut me, sending a shock of pain right to my chest. I was humiliated to hear stuff like that and my head pounded as I tried to wrap my mind around what he had said.
I came forward from behind Dally, fuming. Hot tears ran down my cheeks, leaving blotchy red stains. He saw my face and his eyes hardened leaving them empty with no emotion behind the surface. As much as I wanted to hurt them, injure them in ways I had never thought of before, I silently begged Dally not to take it out on them. They deserved it, but I never could stand seeing people get violent. My bottom lip stuck out as I drew in a shaky breath. I would grovel if I had to.
My face said more than enough for him to let out an aggravating sigh.
He clocked one of the guys in the jaw and watched him crumple to the ground, scrambling to get up. They all backed away and swallowed the lumps in their throat.
“Step away before I punch you in the face. All of you.” A wicked smirk playing on his face. They got in their car and zoomed away, terrified.
“Oh my goodness Dal, thank you.” He didn’t like to be affectionate in public but he squeezed me tightly, kissing my forehead.
“If I hadn’t seen that damn look on your face I would of brought out my switchblade.” He grumbled, disappointed he didn’t get to give them what they should of gotten.
“Don’t bring that out around me ever, please.” I joked, running my fingers through his hair. He rested his chin on my head, pulling me closer.
“Can’t make any promises.”
