i went to a big craft event in my city and now i have a huge squid. he is my son and his name is marinara

my two ocs, the guy on the right doesnt really have a name yet (havent found one that stuck) and the left, Reginald "Reggie" Boudreau, is one i kept since i was in highschool who was one of the few that survived the great OC elimination of '22 (because i got too interested in hermitcraft to draw or develop the original story)

the basic premise of the story is that reggie is a guy who works in IT at a helpdesk and doesnt enjoy it. hes someone with very little interest in anything beyond his niche hobbies and is drifting through life without much care nor risk. unnntiill he meets right guy and his other colleagues to join the night shift crew to eliminate aliens from outer space that keep appearing woooo. they try and uncover seecrets aaahhh.

very simple premise but i do want to develop it further since this kind of story isnt exactly groundbreaking. i just wanna have fun since sci-fi's my favourite genre to write.

being at a job where a good handful of my coworkers have either adhd, autism or both is really convenient cuz we tend to relate a lot to the "unique" frustrations of working in customer service. its an incredible weight off my chest to not feel like im talking behind a thick piece of metaphorical fiberglass to appear "normal"

also nice that theyre all chill with self diagnosis. goated job. goated.
