The joy when he did it!
Hey. Wanna see one of my favourite photos ever?
Pigeon uses Remembrance day poppies to build a nest on top of Anti-bird spikes in 2019. The absolute amount of symbolism going on here is off the charts.
A pigeon. Both in that it's a dove which means peace, but more importantly that pigeons were essential as messengers during WWI. Most famously Cher Ami.
The spikes resembling violence and hostility.
Using Poppy pins made specifically for Remembrance day and all the symbolism of Poppies and WWI itself.
The fact that it stole the poppies from a tomb of an unknown soldier.
The fact it took them to make a nest to lay eggs and raise its babies in.
The fact that it's on the ledge of a church.
The fact that the window it chose to make the nest against is of a wounded soldier.
You couldn't have STAGED a better photo if you tried.
specifically the way it’s nesting on anti-pigeon architecture and pigeons are no longer remembered or valued for their service to society and instead seen as vermin just as a disproportionate number of homeless people are veterans who are no longer remembered or valued as people but instead seen as vermin and must build their lives around anti-homeless architecture and policies.
UC or ER?
HONESTLY THOUGH
THIS IS BOTH ACCURATE AND EFFECTIVE

Emergency Care is for your "Oh fuck!" accidents.
yeah okay ill reblog that!

Are you aware you befriended the yeti
We know that Facebook is brainscorching your parents and tiktok is brainscorching your cousins, but some of you refuse to admit that you got your brain scorched here. However unlike those sites there isn't an algorithm here you just make bad choices.
That's all we ever wanted. To arrive at Hell as a result of our own dubious navigation skills instead of as the result of Satan owning all the road sign companies.
"To arrive at Hell as a result of our own dubious navigation skills instead of as the result of Satan owning all the road sign companies."
This is my favorite quote of today.
My previous intern used ChatGPT to get his master degree in computer diploma and it *showed*. It was really bad. He didn't know how to use
Sure, fuck AI but also fuck this failed masters guy.
It's a deliberate decision to do things like this and there's no way he didn't know he was faking it all. He did it to himself and he was plotting to take down whoever and whatever he ended up working with in the real world due to deliberate incompetence.
It takes a person to use AI and it's the people at fault for using it like this. They're not innocent and they're not victims.
I fully agree. AI makes cheating infinately easier but noone is forced to cheat. I taught a coolege math class a few years back. The rule was: you have to get 50% of homework points altogether to be able to write the exam. (Footnote: usually everyone who hands in regularily passes this. It's kinda low stakes)
Also background info: since math uses a lot of signs not on a normal keybord, a lot of stem people use LaTeX-code and a compiler to get those signs into a pdf document. ChatGPT uses the same method.
So i get a handwritten homework where in one instance, instead of the math sign there was the latex code for the sign. Handwritten. So apparently they copied a chatgpt answer letter by letter and didn't even notice this very unusual combinations of backslashs and brackets.
So I wanted them to fail the homework criterion because not only did they cheat, they didn't even know that that was not a coherent sentence. But the professor let them pass and now they will become school teachers with no understanding of the subject. I'm really mad. And afraid. So maybe we should restructure college and university classes to make ai cheating more difficult
to whom am I squeaking
My ides tiramisu, if you even care
Oh, my word we care.
