“Besides, nowadays, almost all capable people are terribly afraid of being ridiculous, and are miserable because of it.”

ok hear me out - what if all of life is magic and we just forget? what if your heartbreak is a gift just as much as your love? imagine that you’re more than a human being and we’re here for just a little while, and everything feels like so much because we can’t contain it in our little human bodies, so we have two choices in living: numb out or dive deep. and if you dive deep, you end up creating in some way or another. all of humanity has coped with being human by creating music and art and movies, by witnessing the gift of nature, by falling in love (and then making art about it). maybe it is better if it’s too much. what if we can crack ourselves open even more? or just make a little promise to ourselves to give in to this experience each morning? see what it has to offer you.

“For the meaning of life differs from man to man, from day to day and from hour to hour. What matters, therefore, is not the meaning of life in general but rather the specific meaning of a person’s life at a given moment. To put the question in general terms would be comparable to the question posed to a chess champion: “Tell me, Master, what is the best move in the world?” There is simply no such thing as the best or even a good move apart from a particular situation in a game and the particular personality of one’s opponent. The same holds for human existence. One should not search for an abstract meaning of life.”
— Viktor Frankl, Man’s Search for Meaning
