friend, when was the last time you spent time with Jesus? when was the last time you poured out your heart to Him? when was the last time you sat and cried with Him, telling Him about your deepest fears and hurts? times with Jesus are crucial and necessary for our faith. they allow us to deepen and strengthen our relationship with God. a relationship requires effort from both sides. God is waiting and willing to listen to you. He is waiting for you to spend time with Him. the question is, are you willing to do the same? are you willing to open your Bible and meditate on His Word? you have all you need. spend time with Jesus today!

I'm reminded of how important rest is.
I think of Mary and Martha in Luke 10.
We can easily get caught up in doing many things. But there is one "necessary" thing, the good portion.
The most valuable and productive thing you can do is sit at the feet of Jesus and abide in Him.
"But the Lord answered her, 'Martha, Martha, you are anxious and troubled about many things, but one thing is necessary. Mary has chosen the good portion, which will not be taken away from her.'" (Luke 10:41-42)
