Are you still planning to release the BEAT THE ART BREAKER remake? I love the original and was really looking forward to an enhanced version.
eventually yea. its done except the endings which ended up being the toughest part of the whole project. no spoilees but on top of some tech issues i still have to figure out, theres also new stuff in there that was a big part of why i wanted to remake it, and that stuff doesnt all feel right to me yet. cant afford the crunch+burnout cycle anymore so rn im doing what i did with the original version when i hit this point in development, takin a break to finish smaller/more collaborative stuff and coming back with fresh eyes

hello my tumblords. happy to say i evolved overnight. obviously im still gonna make pixelart games! but with this new character-builder engine and a little bit of elbow grease, a new Style has been unlocked
some cute new tech
well!!! ive been wanting to make my own in-engine solution for 3d characters for a long time, got this one working overnight. and im really happy with how it turned out! its probably a little unintuitive from the outside but its meant to be very barebones, designed for creating ultra-simple characters inspired by games like kirby 64 (on top of run-of-the-mill props). i struggle a lot with more traditional 3d tools being way too open, hoping this super limited toolset helps inspire me to make some nice little guys this particular fella is just a test so he wont make it into this game as-is, but definitely gonna use this system for a nice big endboss if nothin else!

hey THREE SISTERS update i made a damn... functional replay system also: i made everything look cleaner also 2: i changed the core gameplay gimmick now instead of 2 characters with different colors, you can shift between 1 body and 2 bodies at will its less of a puzzle mechanic now but more fun as a shmup imo anyway thats all! the replay system was very hard so please clap

hi tumblr theres only a few of you watching this space rn but i wanted to show you the level editor i just made for this game! think im going to be handing the level design off to a Secret Collaborator so this was obv a necessity to make their life not a nightmare. plus i think im gonna include it in the release so players can make their own cool levels??? anything is possible. still needs an editor for bullet patterns but its 12:30 am so im gonna play elden ring then go to bed. please enjoy and like and retumb or whatever you do on this good website. mwah
