[pm] Oh, that? Yeah, I guess - I’ve never really thought about it like that. It helps that people don’t know enough about Mara to wear costumes of us. Still, dressing up is kind of fun. And trying to scare people. And candy. I don’t know, I try to focus on the positive.

I previously had the luxury of living with someone who the neighborhood kids avoided, so I’ve never had to see what kids desperate for sweets could do.

[pm] Offensive costumes? Now that’s an odd thing to say. You don’t strike me as the type who’d rally against the indignity of girls dressing as geishas for Halloween. Unless, that is, you’re one of the people in town who’s a bit different. I guess there’s much to find offensive in that case. Plastic elongated canines, tacky capes, glittery wings and wands, gloves designed to look like over-sized paws, tattered clothes and medically inaccurate green face paint.

But you’re pretty close to my reasons. And with the popularity of a certain show, my annoyance has only gotten worse.
