Sooo it's been a while!

Many of you have probably been wondering where I've been the past couple years

A lot has obvious happened to weren't a such a long silence so I'd figure I'd explain myself a bit and give a reason on why fics have been fairly dead

Over the past few years I started working for the first time at a pretty garbage job that I'm hoping to leave soon. It's been consuming a lot of my time and energy (love blue collar minimum wage job that's a 8-5 with no benifits that's slowly killing me)

I had a massive falling out with various friends that turned out to be not so great, one including my platonic partner. Who as it turns out was making my mental health and growth as a person so much worse.

I met up with one of my online friends recently and have moved in with them! This has helped my mental health a lot but also added other stresses which is to be expected. But I regret nothing (double yippie to living with cats again!)

I still love ninja turtles but it's been on the back burner as a fixation for a long time now. I've converted even my splatoon ocs into just "regular" humans and they've been my driving creativity the past few years. Even then it's only done when I have the time

I've also reconnected with one of my friends who is going through a lot of simular stuff and revamping our 10 year old rp/story

I'm not sure when I'll drop Barb wire birds or start street puddles again, and I apologize for not having better news. Unfortunately I'm not an adult and adult in is very hard, but significantly easier when you have a friend at your hip to help.

I will not force myself to write something I'm not ready to start up again, I'd rather give yall sm worthwhile then garbage. I'm sorry for those who read this hoping I'd be coming back. It will one day! Just... not today or soon. But I'd love to start answering questions again about those aus

But I'm happier! I'm doing better for the most part!

The saying "a falling knife has no handle" says a lot and teaches you even more when you become a butcher. But it's become more. It better to learn to loose your grip on a knife before it does more damage to you. You don't reach for it either when it's falling. You pick it up when it hits the floor.

You drop someone or something before it hurts you further. Then you pick it up and assess the damage; then you continue working

I will continue working.

This year was stressful, and I redid the yellow dress girl twice before ending up with this!  I’m gonna end up with her feet in a couple years aren’t I

The sketch is something I love seeing in art - it shows progress and thought, it adds motion and detail, so in this year’s Yellow Dress Girl I’m keeping the sketch lines by choice!

"When is the next update?"

Worsp will be getting updated before winter hopefully.

The long hiatus wasn't intentional but I've realized it necessary. I was getting burnt out.

For those who don't know. I had a fic I had updated monthly for 2 years and another at the same time that also got updated monthly for a year. Then I got into tmnt and started working on Worsp not long after with not real break between any of the projects.

So unsurprisingly I got burnt out.

Life got busy. I also now have a job that doesn't leave me with much free time.

But my muse for tmnt has stepped back a little and splatoon has stepped forward for now. But it's all oc content so I don't share it outside of my friend groups tbh.

No, I don't know a specific time when worsp will return. I've been taking my time and I won't be forcing myself into writing or working on the fic so I don't just end up hating it in the end. I apologize but I won't apologize for taking time for myself and doing things I enjoy👍

The chapter will come when I have it ready. I likely will stick to a "update when I have time" schedule
