I really enjoy the new swashbuckler rogue subclass on Astarion like I'm so used to playing him as a thief and always looking for hiding places to sneak attack from. now the combo of vicious mockery + sneak attack without needing to hide is like him shouting LOOK OVER HERE YOU UGLY FUCK IM GOING TO SHOOT YOU IN THE FACE and I respect that for him.

as a local Rolan enjoyer I spent a lot of time in my multiplayer honour mode run convincing my partner that he is worth saving (because he usually forgets about him at last light) and then in the Lorroakan fight he came through and thunderwaved him off the ledge and into the line of sight for Astarion's killing sneak attack :)

we took Jaheira to the Moonrise Towers fight because we thought she would be more likely to survive with us because the NPC AI in combat usually makes the Harpers do silly things and get killed. unfortunately the Harpers all made it out alive and Jaheira took enough damage in one turn to kill her wildshape and then her oopsie
