Day 8 of #dawntoduskjuly is 📚 Retelling 📚 And you might be surprised that I didn't pick #thelunarchronicles 😜 So here's a picture of the Beauty and the Beast Retelling "A Court of Thorns and Roses" by Sarah J. Maas. 🌹 I haven't read this one yet but I have heard great things about it and it is on my TBR pile. 😍 Going with the topic, next week me and my beautiful friends (who gave me the ticket as a birthday present) are going to see the Beauty and the Beast Musical which I'm so excited for ❤️❤️ Beauty and the Beast is one of my favourite stories! So, we're a bit behind on #dawntoduskjuly but never mind, here's my picture for yesterday's topic which was: 📚 Currently Reading 📖 I'm taking part in the #pottermorereadathon which is taking place from the 2nd to the 30th July where everyone who participates will be (re)reading the entire Harry Potter series. 🤓 So, obviously I'm reading "HP and the Philosopher's stone" right now. ⚡️ I've been wanting to reread the series for a while now and the 'Pottermorereadathon' was the perfect opportunity to do so. 😍 What are you currently reading? Stars above! It was so hard for me to choose a "Favourite Read of 2016" for #eandsbookchallenge because I've read so many amazing books this year already! (Also worth mentioning: "The Raven Boys"💙, "The Dream Thieves" ❤️, "Hyperbole and a Half"😂, "A Gathering of Shadows"☺️....) But I finally chose "The Lunar Chronicles" because OH MY GOD THIS SERIES IS EVERYTHING!! 💕💕 It's become one of my favourite series of all time! It was so good that when I finished "Stars Above" I started again with "Cinder". 💕 Yeah, I've already stated a million times why I love the series, so no further explanation. 😏 But to anyone who has not read it yet: I highly recommend you to! It is day 5 of the #eandsbookchallenge and the theme for today is: 📚 Favourite Trilogy 📙 This one was harder than I thought it would be because there aren't that may trilogies I have read. 🤔 Most of my read series consist of four or more books but anyway. I chose the "Soul Beach" trilogy by Kate Harrison which I really enjoyed reading! ☺️📖 It is tense, has a great story and has this supernatural, magical touch to it. ☺️ (It also fits in for #infinitefangirlsjune2k16 which says to post about a 🌊 Beach Read 🐟). So obviously it is not the best picture, but it is very much impossible to hold up 4 books with your weaker hand and then to make with the other hand a good picture. My TBRs are Winter by Marissa Meyer (in German) Harry Potter and the Philosopher's Stone by J.K. Rowling (I just read it in German until now!!) The Geek's Guide to Unrequited Love by Sarvenaz Tash (also in German) And Play by Kylie Scott which I am currently reading. Hopefully I can finish all four books this month!! As I had a very busy day yesterday (I went to see Paul McCartney live in concert 😱😍) I didn't have the time to post anything. So here is the picture for yesterday's #readsinneverlandmay2016 which was: 📚 Book Friendship 👫 I chose "The Raven Cycle" as I'm currently reading it (and as I can't pick "The Lunar Chronicles" for every day of the challenge although I totally would 😏😏😍) I love the friendship between all of the Raven Boys and Blue. 💙 I'm currently half way through "The Dream Thieves" and I like how their friendships are developing and how you get to know the different friendships (Gansey-Adam, Gansey-Ronan, Ronan-Noah, Noah-Blue, ...) 💙 So, yeah, if you haven't read "The Raven Boys" yet, you definitely should. ☺️👍🏼 And if you have: who is your favourite Raven Boy?
