We need to stop defining our self-worth by whether we’re in a relationship. We’re a community and as long as we have each other, we’re never truly alone.

Sasha Cisar An Urban Canopy
“Light structures can created sacred spaces. Based on a formal study I developed a floating structure based on irregular cones. A perforated urban canopy above the Bürkliplatz in Zurich that becomes the completition of the urban tissue towards the lake, at the same time it preserves a city plaza. The irregular cones with a view to the sky create intimate and informal spatial qualities through height and verticality. In situ spaces are created between the canopy and the plaza. Each cone moves towards or away from the ground and thus creates an articulated roof above a public square as a situationist space.”
