Oxus Clothing Co.'s blog is an online publication dedicated to everything related to our brand, including behind the scenes of our daily operations, our quirky interests, and exclusive 'sneak peaks' of new releases and Oxus contests here. Oxus Clothing Company is an independent clothing brand, operating out of the small village of Courtland, Ontario, Canada, that focuses on producing clothing that appeals to creators, tinkerers, craftsmen, adventurers and those who are fans of such avenues. All Oxus Clothing designs are unique to the brand, and create a juxtaposition of natural and mechanical images. Patrick Bodnar is the owner and designer of Oxus.

Oxus and a 3D Printer...

I've had the incredible opportunity to experience 3D printing this week. Through a workshop offered at the University of Windsor, by York University Professor Brandon Vickered, I have been introduced to a small part of the vast world of 3D printing, 3D design as a tool for art creation, and rapid prototyping.

The workshop has me thinking about ways to apply this technology to manufacturing products for Oxus Clothing. I envision Oxus phone cases, wallets, money clips, buttons, jewelry and many other accessories coming to you soon by way of Oxus Clothing and 3D printing. In fact, concepts for some of these products are in the works right now!

This design, fittingly titled Kaleidoscope, will be released with the rest of the collection (date tba soon) in our Winter '13 launch.
