Hii, I'm oyasumikade (but my other online names include : oya, kade, oyasumi, oyaya, kaedan, or marksman) i'm an asexual lad and an artist with adhd + aphantasia. if you don't know what aphantasia is, it's a condition where you can't imagine/visualize things very well or at all. i have a large number of hobbies such as composing music, video editing, singing (im not good lmfao), playing guitar/bass/piano, writing, making video games/visual novels, and playing dnd! Though I won't share most of that here, just my art.

going on a mini hiatus indefinetly because i've lost almost all my drive for art and I genuinely loathe opening my drawing program or picking up my pen atm. i'll return at some point tho trust

random thing though before i disappear for a while, my friend and I were talking about churches and i was telling her about the church i used to go to a while back and some of the weird things they did. well we ended up doing a deep dive on said church and found out that I was actually in a straight up cult. also that they had my home address of the place i used to live and my entire family's full names. so that's wild

so last night we had a bad storm roll through and because of the storm, there were a bunch of power surges. Because of a power surge, my computer's system files were badly damaged. So damaged, in fact, that I couldn't even use my PC's command prompt. which is insane. I could open apps but not close them and only half my mouse clicks worked. So, to fix it, i had to reset my entire pc. Which removed all of my games, apps, and everything else I had. This includes my PREMIUM BOUGHT IbisPaint and the 300+ canvases I had on it for my art.

All of this is to say, I probably won't post any art for a while. I am so incredibly discouraged right now because of losing all the shit on my pc again and it's taking a bit of a toll. The computer is fine now but I lost a lot of my shit and it's rough. If I had art I was supposed to be drawing for you, I'm sorry it's going to take a bit longer. Sorry that there's no art for a bit :(

in case you're wondering how the little bird boy is fairing in campaign...

The man he saw as a father, Beauregard Kennish the Third, known as the 'half-dwarf who could not die', was killed in a fight. Almost immediately after, the body was almost kidnapped and taken to be experimented on by an insane mage. They barely were able to stop the body from being taken and teleported back to safety just in time.

The No-Kill rule he had previously was completely thrown out a window as in the same fight, he shot a fleeing guard three times in the back. He also put himself a man's head and showed him horrors so far comprehension, that it brought said man to the brink of death. Once that man was dead (the man who helped kill his father figure), Sindri ripped the helmet off the corpse and has started carving into the steel to wear it as a pauldron and a trophy.

After the fight, he looked at an eldritch being who is damn near all-knowing, and said 'The power I have right now isn't enough. I. Need. More.' and as a result, ancient magic in his blood that he didn't even know he had was awoken. Now he's multiclassing as a warlock and a sorcerer because he decided he could never watch someone he loved die again.
