Kamelot - The Shadow Theory It’s been 5 month now since I start to listen to this band, with every album I discover something new about them, each album have a unique sound a theme, and I guess I got a pretty idea about this band. The Shadow Theory, is the twelfth studio album form Kamelot, and I think it’s the best one yet, the album is full of melodic sound, good riffs and beautiful solos, The band has shaped this album so will, the lyrics is so powerful and had a great story, the story behind the album it self is great, a dystopian and ruin world, with every song you discover pit into the story, also how great they deliver it with music, the solos in this album is magnificent for every song, the symphonic sound that rhythm with the riffs and Tommy voice is masterpiece, some song have a beautiful piano intro that just so good and fitting for the song, the lyrics is so catchy and will written the you will be sing along the whole thing, I can easily say this is the best power metal album I listen to in my life One of the best album in 2018 and the year is just starting…

Pagan Altar - the room of shadows

Imagine if Iron Maiden and Black Sabbath have a chilled , this is the chilled

Although it’s not fair to compare these bands with pagan alter but that the first impression i got from the album and the band, it has a similar but unique sound.

The Room of shadows first album to listen too, and it’s blow my mind from the first time, it’s been two days and I just listen to it repeatedly, the story behind the song is remarkable and the lyrics is catchy, riffs and solos that makes the hart melts, It’s been a while since I’ve listen to something like this, an good album that makes me listen to it all the time is a great album, it became my 2017 album of the year ❤️

Evanescence - Synthesis

i don’t even know how to start this, ok deep brith, let’s do this…

first they announced the album as a symbonic i think they will do somthing like Epica or Nightwish , rock with symphonic element, after the first single the picture get clear to me it’s a clasic album with full orchestra behind it, a new and diffrend path for the band, for me this album is different experience form the old one, although they used an old song but it gives me new feels, odd fell, like i uesd to this but not in this way, and i relly loved it, the choose for the song was perfect, i was hoping they put “Hello” in it but maybe next time, “The End Of The Dream" is really the star of this album along with “Lithium” and “Lost in Paradise” first time I listen to these three song i got goosebumps the beautiful voice of Amy Lee with the orchestra instrument really give the songs another perspective, “Hi-Lo” this song really show where Evanescence are, excellent writing lyrics and melodies, and Lindsey Stirling solo was beautiful, I loved the piano solos in the album especially the “The in-Between”.

Overall this album is a unique, it gives old song new life, and new audiences to the band, hope there will be Synthesis pt.2 in the future , and a new material that involved guitars in it.

Kamelot - Ghost Opera

so kamelot, I know this band for a long time but never listen to them, until now, and I was missing one of the best band in the metal genre.

Ghost Opera was my first album to the band and I chose the right album to make me love the band, this album Is enjoyable to listen to, it’s a treasure full of good melodies and solos that will gives you chills all over your body, good lyrics that touch your soul and makes it comfortable, love the orchestra behind every song it’s what makes me love the album more.

Can’t wait to listen to more of there work ❤️

Odradek Room - A man of Silt

That moment when you have no idea for a thing, and it's surprise you how good it is, this is my felling for this album, i saw a post mention this album so i decided to give it a listen and it's was the best thing i did in my weekend, WOW this album really is a masterpiece, the way they write the album the riffs, solos it’s beautiful, although the album isn’t that full of lyrics but it’s has it fair chance, the genre the band took while writing the album is great some progressive/black metal I never listen to anything like it.

ARCH ENEMY - WILL TO POWER 

Start in a soft intro then it smacked you with an brutal surprise…

first they announced the album i was stoked to listen what they but in it , and they deliver it, the album was amazing in every aspect, Alissa and Michael wrought one of the best lyrics i have listen too, the album full of melody’s and solo’s, the guitar work will makes your whole body chills form the greatness, “Reason to Believe” is the first clean vocals song in arch enemy career, this song goes from soft to power in instant really love it, this album will take you to a beautiful journey full of heavy and powerful emotions.

PVRIS - All We Know of Heaven, All We Need of Hell This album is easy one of the best I’ve listened to in my life,The lyrics, vocals, synths, and instruments were all great, every song tell a unique story for the whole album story, Gunnulfsen vocal is dark and full of passion, brutal but kind and that what gives this album it’s glow.

Epica - The Holographic Principle

A Symphonic Masterpace

Epica made the perfect album, every song have it’s unique story and sound, loved the album from the first listen, the band put a great effort in this album to reach TQE level and they did, The riffs,keyboard sound, drums part every thing was perfect, Simone and Mark did an amazing job writing the lyrics and not forget their voice was on point for every song, and let’s give some credit for the choirs behind the band for the marvellous job, acoustic version from the original song was great addition, one of best in 2016

​Opeth - Sorceress

A mixed feeling about this album...

At the first listen I don't like it, then it's grow in my bit by bit, after a week of ​listening I like it a lot, Opeth make a different album this time ​combine all the old stuff and put it in Sorceress without the growling ​sadly, "The Seventh Sojourn" you can fill all Opeth in it’s glory in this song the solos, riffs even the middle eastern tune is ​ magnificent it put you into a journey to another dimension, the solos are masterpiece every song has its unique tone to it, just perfect.

Gojira - Magma 

WOW!! The first time I listen to this album my jaw was open all the time, the album start with heavy intro and end with a soft one, every song has it’s unique sound, powerful meaning lyrics that come along with the melody of riffs and drum playing, I can’t describe my feeling about this album, it’s truly one of the best album i listened to in my life. 

I wasnt ready for something this good.

Mgła - Exercises in Futility I don't listen to a lot black metal but this album change that I've been listening to it the past two days repeatedly, best black metal album I listened to recently, the lyrics the music every thing in this album is perfect a true black metal.

​Lacuna Coil - Delirium

Heavy, aggressive and more growling three words to describe this, LC back to their roots and make the perfect record, Cristina and Andrea did a marvelous job in the vocal part, there’s some solos you don’t want to end, heavy riffs along with the drums part and dark lyrics is sooo good, the new path that the band decided to go with a darker and heavy idea for the record is gunnies, and as they said it’s a “new chapter for the band”, but I wish it was a little longer.

“Delirium” a well written record and a must listen to.

​Hmm this one is a little tricky, so I started to listen to Katatonia in the past week or two and they ROCK, the earlier album was more black and heavy, then comes the clean vocal album, all that is not important, let’s talk about the new album.

Katatonia - The Fall of Hearts

AMAZING, it takes you on an emotional journey with every song, heavier and soft tone, dark and light theme, The album starts with “Takeover” an epic opening the soft sound of the piano along with hard riffs and drums is a heartbreaking and continue to the all songs, and if you listened closely you will hear some arabic tune.

“The Fall of Hearts” an album that’s grown on me. 💔

Avatar - Feathers & Flesh  For me, it’s the album of the year, every song is great and have a unique sound, they did a marvelous job writing the lyrics, especially "Black Waters", "Fiddler’s Farewell" and "Night Never Ending", amazing riffs and solos, Johannes voice is great as always, the only thing  I didn't like about the album it's not heavy like the past albums maybe because it's a concept album, after all great album and the best in 2106  “I've Got Something in My Front Pocket for You” is actually a south park cover :)
