It for the ship as well as helping fund RWBY in a fun way. The money will be going over to the crew who is working on RWBY when it's announced who is taking over who will be buying the IP.

When can I buy the fanzine?

There is no date for when the zine will be available, but it will be on BuyMeACoffee due to its smaller 5% fee than Gumroad's 10% fee.

Please know that not everyone will be chosen to participate in the zine. Too many people can be a lot to manage. Feel free to share this if you can.

So, I understand we’re celebrating, and indeed there’s lots to celebrate. RWBY has a new home with Viz Media. That is awesome, and I (and we) should rightfully celebrate that. But we also should talk about the elephant in the room. What this sort of thing always seems to circle back to.

Money.

Viz bought RWBY because they see it as a valuable ip. Viz has made an investment in the profitability of RWBY. Viz expects RWBY to make them money. And unfortunately we have an obligation to prove them right. Especially if we want to see RWBY continue.

That means that we have to lower our Jolly Rodger’s and subscribe to whatever platform they pick to platform RWBY. Or submitting to the mortifying ordeal of ads if a subscription is out of your budget. That means consuming the official manga, (which I highly recommend if you haven’t read it yet. I own physical copies, and they are fun little reads. They don’t add much to the story, but the art is pretty, and occasionally breath taking), and of course, buying officially licensed merchandise.

I know it sucks, but we live under the oppressive regime of capitalism, and cannot escape its consequences. Viz expects RWBY to be a financial success, and it’s up to us to make sure that happens.

I’ll keep my ears to the ground for official information, and keep making updates with whatever I find, but for now, we can and should celebrate. RWBY is pressing on and so will we! We’re in this together FNDM.

Got to doodling last night, and decided to do some “cover art” for my fic. I wanted to go for a dime-store paperback kind of vibe, like one of those $2, 200 page books you find on a display in a pharmacy, written by some author you’ve never heard of, with pages already yellowed from age.

I think I ended up with vaguely Tokyo-Pop obscure manga that you can only ever find two volumes of, but is criminally underrated.

Anyways, here’s this. Enjoy!

Chapter 2 is live people! While I don’t want to commit to any specific update schedule, I do want to try for at least one chapter a week, but that being said, I’ll probably release chapters as soon as I’m done editing, because I want the feel good chemicals that come with finish task. I’m probably going to introduce Penny and Sun in the next chapter. I’ll probably bring Jaune and Pyrrha in too. I’m planning on taking this story slower than the last Grimm Fables, building the plot and tension more organically.

But most importantly, I’m having fun. It feels good to come back to this version of these characters, and put these guys in even more situations™️.

Hi everyone! I have officially started working on the sequel to my RWBY/Horror fic. The first one was a blast to work on, and I’m excited to be coming back to this particular AU.

I didn’t originally intend to turn Grimm Fables into a series, but inspiration struck, and frankly with the RT news, I figured I’d do my part to keep hope alive by making SOMETHING.

Okay, but imagine we get volume 10, and an even two to six month time skip, and in the aftermath of the Fall of Atlas, Oscar is growing more and more resigned to the merge happening.
