💔 does anyone else find it hilarious that some absolute creative genius looked at all the versions of the tin man we've had over the years, all the many wonderful performances of the tinboq in wicked and decided to make him the most balls to the wall scary unhinged version there has ever been in the history of the musical but that the merchandise for said tinboq is the happiest looking plushes?

in the fictional sense imagine if similar pieces existed in the wicked universe to further the emerald city's propaganda because we know glinda's wands existed as merchandise for ozians.

fun little detail that doesn’t really make it into adaptations is how often dorothy and the gang have to take rest stops to sleep and eat. like yeah of course they do it totally makes sense but still caught me a bit by surprise

I need so much context on what the hell the Wozard of Iz is

The Wozard of Iz is a 60s.. psychedelic narrative music albumn by Mort Garson thats like a weird retelling of the Wizard of Oz.... :P Except.... (AT LEAST IN MY INTERPRETATION CUZ ITS VERY UNCLEAR): Dorothy's sort of like a runaway in search of community away from suburban, TV oriented life, and on her travels she meets these 3 men who are all victims of this capitalist society in some way and they all go become.. hippies.!- As far as I'm aware I got the impression none of them were actually a tin man or a lion or anything, and are really just people.. and these forms are like their perceptions of themselves. Shrug Its incredibly weird but I greatly enjoyed it.. and if you listen to it you might have a completely different interpretation of it to me.. but yknow :P

The ending to The Wizard of Oz is perfect because it really does a great job at paying off what every character wants throughout the film

The Tin Man always had a heart because he cared for and protected his friends at every opportunity

The Lion was always courageous because he persevered despite his fears

And the Scarecrow always had a brain because he was the only one who thought to bring a gun when the wizard tasked them with killing the witch
