Autumn Night
Chat Noir x reader
In a nightfall twilight, the blond cat saw himself keeping a long and tiring watch over the vast Parisian city. The trees swaying in the wind and the recently fallen dry leaves on the pavement indicated that nature was welcoming autumn. Meanwhile, Chat Noir, the charming French hero, was walking in search of his girlfriend’s house after long hours of hard work in the streets. After a few minutes of walking, he saw a building he knew well: a structure made of limestone masonry with a beige color, a black stucco roof, a dark chimney, and a white balcony with wrought iron, where he could see her from afar under his supervision. There was his beloved, and just seeing her waiting for him made the little cat’s heart race a thousand miles per hour, so he used his big staff to approach her by surprise. Y/N, who was at that moment reading Persuasion by Jane Austen, jumped in fright at the noise, until she saw a silhouette in the shadows, one she knew very well, and she smiled instantly—her boy had no manners, didn’t he?
— “Mon amour?” asked the girl.
The blond in black knelt before her and took her hand into his lap and kissed it, throwing all his charm.
— “Good evening, Mon ange,” he replied immediately.
— “To what do I owe the great honor of having such a presence at my disposal?”
— “Well, I was passing by and decided to see you; after all, can’t I visit my girl?” he said, with a half-smile, sarcastic, as if it were impossible for her not to adore his presence.
Ugh, damn, he knew exactly what he was doing after all.
— “Well, you may, you know I like having my kitty’s company.”
If he played like this, she would also put her cards on the table.
— “Aren’t you going to invite me in? It’s very cold out here, you know. Or do you want me to freeze in the yard to impress you even more?”
— “Would you like to enter my humble room, Mr. Chat Noir?”
— “Yes, my lady.”
They went inside; the room wasn’t as big as his, but he felt at home. Although he would never admit it out loud, not yet. They spent hours playing, talking, giving and receiving affection all the time. When it was almost morning, his princess was asleep, but he needed to leave, after all he couldn’t stay for long even if he wanted to, Plagg would soon get hungry and he was probably already tired… Days like this were good, autumns like this were good—could they never end? Was eternity possible? Why is time so fleeting?
