Somehow I didn't want to open the door because I knew it would be one of the boys standing there to talk to me about the hot springs.
But I had already snuggled up so nicely in bed and the warmth surrounded me, which I didn't want to give up.
So I simply ignored the person at my door and went back to bed, after all we had to go on tomorrow and there would be enough time to talk about what had happened.
My ears picked up footsteps moving away from the door and quiet voices talking to each other.
-Apparently it was all three of them who wanted something from me, they should go to sleep and stop thinking about this little thing.
But something told me that I wasn't really going to sleep tonight.
I put my head back on the pillow and closed my (E/C) eyes.
But there was a sound that I unfortunately knew only too well. The sides of a Biwa.
My surroundings changed immediately. There were shogi doors everywhere. It was like a huge labyrinth. What was upstairs could also be downstairs and vice versa. Light shone from almost every room and illuminated the rooms.
The infinity castle.
The refuge of the higher demons and their leader.
Only then did I realize that I was hanging in the air. When I realized it, I fell down. But I didn't fall onto the hard tatami floor, I was caught.
My (E/C) eyes, looked into rainbow colored eyes.
"Hello my dearest (Y/N)-chan."
His voice reached my ears and brought me out of my stupor.
I started to wiggle back and forth for him to finally let me go. After I stood on both feet again, I looked up at the demon. His cream/white hair was sticking out on all sides. The black hat on his head let me know that he must have come from his temple. The rest of his robes also confirmed my suspicions.
"You look just scrumptious again today, my love."
He continued speaking and grabbed my left hand to pull it to his mouth. His long tongue emerged and licked over my skin. I knew what he was like and I didn't really mind. It's been like this for centuries.
-He will never change, but has it always been this cold here?-
I asked myself inwardly.
Until I realized what else I was wearing. It was just a short white kimono with cherry blossoms at the ends. I always wear this to sleep because I get warm very quickly.
But I'd never stood in front of them dressed like this before.
"Douma. Stop bothering her, can't you see she's not feeling well?"
A pleasant voice echoed in my ears.
I turned my head a little to the side. Short red hair. Tattoos all over his body. A red vest and matching trousers completed the picture of a well-toned body. And those beautiful eyes with the number 3 engraved in them made me smile softly.
"What, darling, is that right? I've just missed you so much, it's been so long."
Douma whined in front of me.
I immediately turned back to him.
"Douma. It's all good. You know I don't mind you being like this. I'm just very unflatteringly dressed and so I'm a bit cold."
I said.
The rainbow-colored eyes widened a little until a mischievous grin appeared on his cheeks.
"Awww (Y/N)-chan, I still think you're wearing too many clothes. AUA!"
Douma was interrupted by a shclag to the head.
The red haired demon, stepped in after the remark.
"Akaza it's all good. You know how he is."
I laughed and looked at the two of them with cheerful eyes.
"It's still inappropriate. Better give her your coat to make her feel better. What will the master think of it if she falls ill. And you call yourself number two."
Akaza would not be deterred from his sermon.
-He's still a gentelman-
I thought to myself silently.
Douma, however, pricked up his ears at Akaza's request and immediately took off his large cloak and simply put it on me. I hadn't expected him to be so quick with such an action. But I immediately melted into the garment because it was warm and felt so nice.
I grabbed it with my hands and pulled it tighter around me. I didn't pay any attention to what the others were doing because I was so engrossed in the fabric. Out of the corner of my eye, I could just see them watching me and apparently blushing.
"Madam (Y/N) looks like a work of art!"
another voice appeared in the room.
I knew exactly who it was and didn't know whether to be happy or not. Since I had little to do with the demon and he mostly just talked about art.
"Um...thanks."
I simply replied.
And I never knew where to look with him. His eyes were mouths while his forehead and chin had eyes. But he was always very nice to me, even though deep down I thought he wanted to kill me.
"(Y/N)-san....H-h-hello."
My gaze went to the right side of the room, up to a staircase.
There I saw another of the upper moons, but I didn't quite like him in the form he was in. He's always so whiny then.
I just waved to him and gave him a little smile.
Almost everyone was there, only two were missing. Inwardly, I also knew that I had missed them very much. Especially upper moon number 1.
"Where are the other two?"
I kept looking back and forth to find them.
However, I suddenly felt a presence behind me. I put my head back so I could see exactly who was looking down at me.
"Kokushibo!"
I shouted loudly and immediately turned to him and hugged him.
He immediately stiffened under my touch, but then relaxed again. He is always a bit stiff in front of the others and tries not to show that he has missed me.
"Hi."
he just said and put his hand on my head.
"Why does he get such a greeting and I don't..."
Douma's whining came through the room again.
I rolled my eyes a little and detached myself from the number one demon.
Knowing exactly how affectionate Douma and Akaza can be, even if he doesn't show it, I opened my arms. Both came to me very quickly and hugged me. One more than the other.
"That better? And someone should tell me that you are demons. You're like lost puppies who come as soon as I call them."
I said with a laugh.
They both wanted to say something back, but they immediately dropped into a crouch and bowed their heads.
-Why did he have to come now, it was just so beautiful-
In my mind, I felt like a child who didn't get what he wanted.
"(Y/N)."
Muzan's stern voice made me realize how serious the situation was.
I gave him my attention. His head is covered by the white hat again. He kept his black hair neatly in a low braid. His body is covered by a very elegant black suit.
I waved to him. Even though he couldn't see my hand, as Douma's coat is much too big for me.
"You know why you're here?"
There was somehow a hint of anger in his voice.
"Nope."
I emphasized the P at the end.
I wanted to irritate him even more, even if the others would probably suffer for it afterwards.
"Watch how you talk to me. But then I'll remind you."
