Honestly as someone who relates a lot to what Jax is going through, I honestly dislike everyone pivoting to she/her pronouns after Circus Jax's apparent death it really makes me uncomfortable. Never have I gotten Jax more than after the finale.

Fun fact! You can totally relate to Jax even if you're not trans! Because trans experiences are not necessarily separate from human experiences!

There is an argument to be made for using He/Him to reference Jax as we see him throughout TADC. One that's not just transphobia packaged in a neatly tied bow, either! And that argument is: he goes by he/him throughout the show.

Generally, no matter what we might think someone's 'true' gender is, we call them by what they go by! So let's ask jax what pronouns-

.....well that complicates things! (joke)

That being said, I think Jax is transfem, personally. But this is also a lot of people's first interaction with a transfem character that's pre-transition! People are gonna be made uncomfortable by this and are gonna make mistakes cause they're inexperienced! But it's good to practice with a character like Jax so you can be better at it with IRL situations!

Personally, I'm gonna be using he/him for pre-transition Jax, but she/her and they/them for any transitioning/post-transition Jax (including post-finale and human Jax).
