“I just don’t know what to do, Shoko.”
The brunette doesn’t look up from her phone, mumbling, “You mean about your Physics paper?”
Your glossy lips pressing together before opening your mouth with a pop! „Well, yeah, but-„
Her eyes squeezing together, brows furrowed. It’s been months since your rambling about Gojo Satoru has begun. Gojo here, Gojo there, and your whining self all over the place, and your smoker friend enduring all of it. The shy nerd caught your attention after you accidentally stumbled over his bag in the library and fell flat on your face in front of him. Maybe it wasn’t the best first impression, but his eyes filled with worry, and his stuttering voice made your nervous system collapse.
Giving Shoko a pitiful pout, she finally gave in.
“Alright, alright… I will see what I can do, but you owe me big time,” she hissed slightly, covered by a chuckle. You smile brightly, “You’re the best! I love love love you!” and within seconds you were gone, bag swung over your shoulder and sprinting to your dorm. “But we didn’t cover what I should ask for!”
For the last twenty minutes, you’ve been standing in front of the mirror, correcting every little detail that bothered you. Brushing your hair multiple times, checking if something is between your teeth, making sure your makeup is cute but not too much, fixing your necklace, and pulling on your shirt-
Knock knock
With a trembling breath and clumsy feet, you rush to the door, taking a deep breath to hide your nervousness before opening it with a warm smile. “Hello Gojo!” you blurt out, admiring the 6'3 tall man in front of you. You notice how his big glasses are sitting low on his nose, his breath is uneven, and his large hand is nervously rubbing the back of his neck. His long white lashes cover his eyes, not meeting your gaze yet. “H- Hey, Y/N,” it’s almost like a whisper. Stepping to the side, you open the door wider to allow him to enter. Bending his head to fit through the door, the white-haired man nervously enters your dorm, standing in the middle of the room like a lost puppy. He looks a bit cramped, which makes you chuckle quietly while closing the door.
Playing with the little trinkets on your bracelet, you let yourself rest on a chair near your desk while glancing up at the tall man. “Thank you for helping me.” He scratches his cheek while looking through the room. “Um... Yeah, of course, but… are you really sure you need my help? I-I mean... Shouldn't you better ask someone from... Um... Maybe your major?” His voice seems so small. Your major? With a light nervous smile, you shake your head. “No, no! I fully trust you!” Gojo gave you a nod, carefully sitting down on the edge of your bed and spreading out his notebooks. This will be awkward.
“You told him that I’m failing my major??!” The short, brown-haired girl in front of you exhales the smoke of her burning cigarette, letting her head fall back. “I’m sorry! It was the first thing that came to mind! You shouldn’t just run away next time!” Sucking on your bottom lip, you let out an exhausted. “He thinks I’m stupid! Like, seriously brain-damaged stupid!” Shoko presses out her cigarette, closing the balcony door of her apartment behind her. “Don’t worry,” she says, falling down next to you on her couch. “I assure you that he doesn’t think like that. You probably overheated his brain with your presence alone.” A hum leaves your lips as you sit up properly. “So... What will you do now?” Silence filled the room for a few seconds. “I guess I will continue playing dumb.”

short story ~430 words
"and if you mix this substance with…." yaaaawn. you only listened half-heartedly to what your professor was saying. eyes fixed on your notebook, long fingers rushing over the keyboard and forcing your eyes to not fall shut, you try your best to finish your lab reports before the given deadline. the plan was to wrap your work up yesterday evening, but the new episode of your favorite tv show was more appealing. "that's it for today’s lectu-" and without a second thought you were rushing out.
the halls were crowded as usual. out of breath and with sweat pearls starting to form on your forehead, you tried your best to squeeze through to the lab. if you missed another report on how the CRISPR/Cas9 gene scissors are a useful tool to target cancer-infected T cells, your TA will, without a doubt, let you fail the course. too caught up with your overflowing thoughts, you didn’t notice the hard chest you ran against. stumbling back and papers flying around before hitting the floor, you look up into dark purple eyes. the cheeks of the over-5′11″-tall man in front of you flush quickly into a light pink, kneeling quickly down to grab for all his papers.
"i’m so, so sorry, i should’ve been more careful", he mumbles quickly, trying to reach for a sketch of his that you were accidentally standing on. a quiet sigh leaves your lips as you kneel down to him. "no, it’s my fault, don’t apologize." you shook your head, picking up a few pencils he had dropped. you’re glancing at the face in front of you. long, dark lashes, slightly crooked glasses sitting on his straight nose, and pretty pink cheeks. "you’re suguru geto, right?" after a few minutes, you remembered seeing the dark-haired man. he sits two rows behind you in your mathematics course, if your mind isn’t tricking you. the sound of his name made him flinch, carefully nodding. his eyes avoiding yours. with furrowed eyebrows, you look down to your feet, spotting a messy-looking charcoal sketch. "i’m sorry" you said with a chuckle. picking up the thick paper under your sneakers, you were able to take a closer look at the sketch before it was quickly taken from your hands.
"i-i‘m really sorry," suguru said hastily, before fleeing down the halls and getting lost in the crowd. grabbing your bag tightly, you quickly get up again. cheeks starting to burn while rushing quietly to your lab. you could have sworn that the sketch from the tall man was from you.
𑣲 your first and (not so) one-sided love suguru geto met you again after ten years but notices that he’s too late. ⋆˚࿔
Your three years at Tokyo Jujutsu High were the most mesmerizing years of your life. Together with Shoko, you were specializing and deepening your medicine and surgeon skills. Uncountable nights and days you were awake and working hard. The only times you could take a break and catch your breath were when Shoko was dragging you along on some missions together with two of the special grade jujutsu sorcerers—Satoru Gojo and Suguru Geto. Even though you were always complaining to Shoko, in the end you had the time of your life.
You were young and full of hope and stupidly in love with the tall, dark-haired sorcerer. His gentle eyes, his soft voice, and his little smile made your heart flutter every time. Suguru made your heart beat as fast as he has broken it, unintentionally. You heard it from Shoko first, banned from Jujutsu High after slaughtering a whole village. "That's not true." It felt like the air was being punched out of your lungs after Shoko turned her head down. You shook your head repeatedly in disbelief, knowing that this wasn’t the same man you knew and secretly loved. With Geto gone, times at Jujutsu High were not only hard for you but also especially for the six-eyes user. He wasn’t as loud and cheerful as usual.
While walking down the aisle on the way to your room, you stopped by the door of Geto's dorm. The door was slightly open, light shining through the gap. Without hesitation, you gently push the door and catch the over 6'3 man howling over the little nightstand next to the bed. His eyes quickly met yours. A shiver is running down your spine. Gojo takes a small glance at the picture he was holding in his hands before he drops on the bed with a quiet sigh.
You gulped, slowly tracing towards the white-haired man to sit down next to him. Silence was filling the room, which neither of you two wanted to break. A few minutes passed after you felt a big hand slowly laying down on yours, giving it a slight squeeze. It made you chuckle at first before a few tears were pouring down your cheeks.
Ten years have passed since you last saw Suguru Geto. His absence was difficult for you but particularly for Satoru Gojo. Over time, the two of you grew closer over grief and developed a stronger and deeper bond. While Shoko and you became two of Jujutsu High's most important doctors, your fiancé, Satoru Gojo, was teaching the first-year students. Sometimes your mind still shifts to Geto, wondering what could’ve been.
With a deep sigh, you rub your eyes before two large hands settle on your tense shoulders. You let out a quiet squeak before you turn your head around. Eyes meeting pink soft lips before staring right up into light blue eyes. "Is everything alright?" he spoke softly, kneading your sore muscles with care. You bite down on your lip from the slight but pleasing pain, nodding your head. "Just lost in thoughts-", a loud sound cut you off. "Stay right here." Gojo mumbled, and within seconds he was gone.
You look around in confusion before taking off your gloves and rushing outside. After four days of not being exposed to natural light, the sun was intense and unnatural for your skin.
You squint your eyes together, eyeing the silhouette of your fiancé in the distance. Along with him were his students, a big bird, and a few people you could not recognize. Quietly stepping forward, you take a peek over Satoru's shoulder before falling into a shock. "Y/N? what are you doing here? I told you not to follow." You weren’t listening to the white-haired man as usual, eyes big and fixated on the tall man in front of you.
"Y/N? How nice to see you here." Suguru said, his lips curling up into the same smile that has been burned into your memory of him. The long-haired man let go of Yuta Okkotsu, one of Gojo's students, before standing right in front of you. His tall and muscular figure still has a crushing impact on you. "How long has it been? I heard of your talent, your strength. You are exactly what we need." Suddenly, he grabs your hands, leaning down closer to you. "Exactly what I need."
Suguru was gentle, his gaze still soft but respectful. You can feel the heat crawling up to your neck, trying to clear your throat and licking your suddenly dry lips before taking a step back. Gojo was watching you closely, clenching his fist until his knuckles turned white. "Suguru," you said quietly, slipping your hands out of his grip, "I'm right where I should be. You should leave before it’s too late." Air is filling your cramped lungs, trying to breath properly while fidgeting with your engagement ring.
He analyzes your motions, glaring down at the shimmering light blue stone on your ring finger. "Ah... I see," he said with a chuckle, returning to his companions, "such a shame. I knew I should’ve said something sooner." His words made your brows knit, and without another word, he disappeared again.
