Drift teaches basic Japanese to his children.

FamilyAU: Fracture and Drift have four children together-the minicons. —- Everytime they want to speak to Drift, they have to knock on the door and ask for permission to enter. When the do, they sit in front of him and greet him formally depending on the time of day it is, and bow down.

Ex.: “Ohiyogozaimasu/Konbawa/Konichiwa, Chichiue.” (Good morning/eveing/hello, Father.) “________, kodomo. (________, children.)

Only Slipstream and Airazor can say this, but Airazor studders inbetween words. But Divebomb and Jetstorm have a hard time pronouncing the words, so they say:

"Ohiyo, Otosan” (Good morning, Dad.)

Drift doesn’t respond for a while until he says: “Nani irudesuka? Nanika juuyuuna- desuka?” (What is it that you want? Is it important?) (Not sure if I spelt that correctly)

He doesn’t reply courteously as the other two. On rare occassions, he’ll let it slide.
