Are you fr? like, really? the only incredibly toxic mindset is thinking a studio IS nothing more than a business transaction? Is that how you viewed your dance experience? Cause when I was a dancer, my studio was my home, my safe space, my sanctuary. The business part of it was at the back of my mind. And when I was a teacher, yes the studio was part of my job, but it was also part of my passion. I hope to god you don’t pursue teaching dance, cause with an attitude like that…… yikes yikes YIKES!

I'm not saying don't be nice to your students or make your studio a welcoming environment. I'm saying that your students do not owe you anything for having trained there. yes it's completely understandable to be upset if they leave after years of training, but it would be vindictive to punish them for that because again, they owe you nothing. I really hope you don't have the mindset of your students owing you. if it's really your passion then you should want the best for them no matter what that may be.

I get Hulu with my Spotify student plan and i use my parents' Amazon prime and my friend's Netflix. I don't really use any of them much but i think Netflix is probably the most worth it and has the best original content.
