“of course i think that others would too. i obviously know what i’m talking about too, aren’t you looking at me in that magazine?” persephone pouted, pointing at her face. “it would only help further your modeling career. i know it’s been a little hard for you lately, but what’s happening in the industry right now is they’re employing singers/or big influencers for your role. it doesn’t help you either that you have to stick to one city all the time either.” the woman explained, letting out a sigh. persephone pushed herself off the table and crossed her arms. she had fulfilled her dream. it was time to make sure that mino fulfilled his as well. plus, she couldn’t see this as a wrong business move. if both kai and mino released a collaborative album with persephone at the helm; oof it would be chef’s kiss.
“plus i could only imagine neptune dying at having a chance to promote you and kai at once. how do i come up with such great ideas? it’s like i’m a genius– ah, i guess not like…i am.” persephone giggled to herself as she snatched the magazine off the table. the one hugged the magazine, spinning around the kitchen merrily.
“and during the grammy’s that’s when we can announce it. my min-min, a star among stars.” persephone let herself lean back against the wall with a sigh. the spinning had gotten her a bit dizzy but she couldn’t get off of the high of her new idea. a million songs were popping in her head.
“i-i am! but still... singing and me... i’m a bit... shy?” mino blinked and the magazine was gone from his hands, “can we hang up the magazine on the wall? oh you know what, i think i do have some poster tape in our room... or i should get a photo frame from the store.” he muttered the last sentence, starting to get lost in his thoughts. “well, uh... i mean, i-i suppose you’re right. it wouldn’t hurt to give singing a try. plus... it’ll look good on my resume.” mino joked, nodding to himself with a determined smile. “annnnd, it’s a good thing i have connections to the greatest producer of all time then, hm?” he grinned, leaning over to peck her cheek. “what’s the first step to going about this then? i... man, i feel like a noob all over again.” despite his previous uncertainty, mino couldn’t help the slight excitement in his voice. starting a new chapter like this... meant giving him more opportunities to shine and picking him up from the slump he’s felt for the past few months. he was sure that the ‘slump’ was noticeable, despite his best efforts not to show it at home.
“ooh, let’s go, persephoney. giving neptune more work to do, i like it.” mino teased, pinching the greatest producer of all time’s cheek. “plus, having to troll him most of the time will be fun. oh, i wonder how kai will feel about all this.” he muttered, scratching his cheek. would kai be happy? or... jealous? he shook his head to clear his thoughts. “during the grammys! alright, sounds like a plan. ooh, i’m already thinking about what to wear to the grammys. agh, don’t get ahead of yourself. we’re not there yet.” he spoke the last sentence to himself, rubbing the side of his head with his knuckle. but persephone having so much faith in him, even from the very beginning had made him so giddy. he had been lucky enough to have been in a relationship with someone as supportive as her. he’d hate to think about the people who didn’t have a ‘persephone’ in their life.
“ah, but you know... you always have great ideas. that’s why i keep you around, duh.” mino stepped forward, a spring into his step towards her. he held his hands behind his back, smiling mischievously. “now that i think about it, what do you keep me around for, again? i’d like to know.”
