Fluff alphabet for ElsaxRumi ❄️💜
_______________________________________________________________
Notes: That new edit of the ship pulled me out of my slump. This is suitable for all audiences. If you like it, we'll do the other alphabets I've been looking at. Enjoy :D
❄️💜
A is for Admiration ˚₊ ⊹
What’s a quality they absolutely adore about you?
The way both of their faces light up when they see each other—as if a piece inside them feels complete once they are together. That sigh of relief every time one returns to the other's arms, feeling the warmth of their hugs, and regaining their energy after a tedious day.
B is for Beauty˚₊ ⊹
What do they find to be the most beautiful about you physically?
Oh, Aphrodite is definitely eyeing them with envy!
For Rumi, it would be Elsa's blue eyes and pale freckles. When she wakes up, she admires Elsa's face, quietly observing—yes, she has counted her girlfriend's freckles many times. She loves it when Elsa blushes because her freckles stand out even more, and those eyes... those blue eyes. The song Ocean Eyes suits her perfectly; they are magnetic, and sometimes Rumi finds it hard to maintain eye contact. And well, it was a pleasant surprise when she discovered those eyes glow in the dark, just like hers with her demon eye. They did give Zoey a scare one night when they were in the pitch-black kitchen, but that's just a minor detail!
For Elsa, what she adores most is Rumi's hair: long, shiny, and silky. At first, she was terrified of touching it, fearing she might accidentally freeze it, so she held back for a long time. That was until one day Rumi asked for her help to undo her braid. Elsa was so nervous her hands were shaking, but Rumi's soft purr gave her the confidence to keep going. Now she does it with total devotion: she washes her hair, styles it, and brushes it whenever she can.
Elsa always jokes: "Oh Rapunzel, let down your long hair~"
C is for Clingy˚₊ ⊹
How attached to you are they? How long can they last without you by their side?
I think everyone knows who the clingier one in the relationship is!
Rumi runs straight into Elsa's arms the moment their workday ends, letting out a deep, satisfied sigh when Elsa wraps her in a cold yet comforting hug. If Elsa is working, Rumi doesn't hesitate to climb onto her lap and hug her from there, snuggling up as if it were her favorite place in the world. Elsa can keep working with just one hand, smiling tenderly. Rumi is like a human cat—soft, affectionate, and extremely territorial when their time together gets interrupted; she hugs Elsa tighter, hiding her face in her neck so she can't move.
This is definitely very new for Elsa. The first time, she felt completely overwhelmed. Sure, she was used to her sister's warm hugs, but this was a whole other level that Anna had not prepared her for. Yet, she loves it—so much so that now she eagerly looks forward to those moments.
There are times when Rumi is out of town and just needs to hear Elsa's voice. She misses her so much that she can't wait, wanting only to hear her voice to feel at home again.
D is for Dates˚₊ ⊹
What are their ideal dates like?
On one hand, they have to be careful because, well, one of them is a celebrity and cameras follow them everywhere—but they've adapted very well.
Elsa often has to calm Rumi down so she doesn't rent out an entire amusement park just for the two of them. Rumi pouts—she's a millionaire and has the access—but Elsa thinks it's a bit too much. So Rumi negotiates:
"Okay, fine, not a whole park... but what about a luxury restaurant, huh?"
Elsa ends up agreeing because she can't resist her girlfriend's puppy-dog eyes, even though Elsa is more than happy just staying home, snuggled up under a blanket watching movies.
Sometimes they also go hiking. Rumi knows Elsa loves nature, so she takes her to various spots for walks. You'd think an idol with military-level tactical training for hunting demons would have high stamina, but... damn, Elsa, slow down! Not everyone can climb a mountain in a single night.
They also like trying new things—Elsa more so than Rumi. Sometimes Elsa takes her ice skating (definitely not an excuse for Rumi to cling to her or anything...). Or when Elsa made it her mission to teach Rumi how to swim. Of course, she didn't just want to see her girlfriend in a swimsuit, or hold her close while swimming... not at all!
Going to karaoke is also an unforgettable experience. They sing amazingly well together, hitting notes so high that the Honmoon glows with happiness. The owners thank God every time they walk into the venue—it's like listening to angels sing.
E is for Emotions ˚₊ ⊹
How do they express their emotions around you?
Well, damn... this isn't a strong suit for either of them.
On one hand, we have the girl raised for perfection, taught to project the image the public desires and never complain. On the other hand, we have the girl trying to be good, to always stay calm, to not feel, and to lock her heart away—because if she opens it, there will be consequences.
Both learned the hard way what it means to bottle up emotions and feelings, and how important it is to let in the people who care about them. It becomes much easier when they realize they share similar feelings and emotions due to everything they've been through. So, step by step, they leave the door open for each other to enter their hearts.
Now, when they are together, their emotions flow more gently. They no longer hide how they feel as much. Little by little, they've turned their relationship into the safest place where they can be vulnerable and still feel completely loved.
F is for Family ˚₊ ⊹
Do they want a family? If so, how big?
I just know that one day the Honmoon and Ahtohallan will reach an agreement and grant one of them a magical pregnancy!
Starting a family sometimes feels like an impossible dream for them because of their various quirks. The thought of accidentally hurting their own child or failing to protect them from all the dangers out there worries them deeply.
However, the people around them never stop telling them that they would make excellent mothers: they are so affectionate, attentive, and have so much love to give. Anna, Mira, and Zoey repeat it to them constantly with loving smiles.
Gradually, that idea stops being terrifying and starts filling their chests with a new kind of warmth. Imagining a little house filled with laughter and love brings a silly smile to their faces. Without a doubt, that child would be the most loved, protected, and spoiled kid of all time.
G is for Giving ˚₊ ⊹
What gifts do they get you? How do they react to gifts given to them?
They aren't very material people; they care more about the thought behind a gesture than the item itself.
Then again, they are multimillionaires and very capable.
If Elsa mentions she wants chocolate from back home, Rumi won't hesitate to use her private jet just to bring it to her fresh.
When someone bothers Rumi (some guy named Gwa-ma, for example), Elsa figures out how to track him down and freezes him without a second thought.
Rumi soon discovers that Elsa prefers handmade gifts, so she becomes an expert at crafts. She spends hours fully focused, creating things with her own two hands just to see that shy smile on Elsa's face.
Remember that Frozen Fever short where Elsa fills the whole town with gifts for Anna? Yeah, Elsa does the exact same thing. She fills the penthouse with so many gifts that remind her of Rumi, simply because her love is that massive, deep, and overwhelming.
H is for Honesty ˚₊ ⊹
Do they keep secrets or are they open with you?
They're working on it, okay?
Rumi is trying with all her might—God knows she is. She forces herself, step by step, to express more to Elsa, saying things like: "I'm tired... I think I might pass out if I keep going for much longer." It's hard for her, but she does it because she trusts her.
Elsa, for her part, has to learn to stop leaving out things that happen to her, since her first instinct is always not to worry anyone.
Elsa, Rumi won't think you're weird if you tell her you've been hearing a voice at 3 AM!
I is for Injury˚₊ ⊹
How would they act if their partner was injured?
They feel absolutely terrible. They are so strong and powerful—why couldn't they protect the person they love most?
Rumi constantly keeps an eye on Elsa when they go out on missions, because her dear girlfriend thinks her powers make her invulnerable, which isn't true at all. Elsa tends to jump into danger without thinking if the situation calls for it. Rumi swears that one day she's going to put a leash on her!
Elsa, on the other hand, doesn't even feel pain until someone points out a bruise or a bloodstain on her clothes, and suddenly she remembers she's hurt. Rumi goes into full panic mode, practically having a nervous breakdown—especially because Elsa adamantly refuses to step foot in a hospital (and she has plenty of reasons why). In the end, the other girls have to help handle her.
But when it's Rumi who gets injured, Elsa is capable of tying her to the bed so she gets some rest. In fact, if she's done it once, she'll do it again. Rumi needs to stop being so stubborn and rest. Elsa won't take "no" for an answer. If Rumi needs anything, Elsa will get it instantly. She nurses her with infinite devotion: tucking her into the big, comfortable bed, stroking her hair, kissing her forehead softly, and becoming the absolute best nurse in the world.
J is for Jokes ˚₊ ⊹
Do they like to joke around and prank you?
Rumi paid Mira and Zoey huge sums of money just so they would laugh at Elsa's jokes. Yes, they are pretty bad, but Elsa must never know that.
So whenever Elsa tells a joke, Rumi gives everyone an intensely threatening glare to make sure they laugh. The girls fulfill their part, though sometimes a genuine laugh slips out simply because Rumi's deadpan seriousness is hilarious to them.
Generally, Rumi is the bigger prankster of the two. She loves covering Elsa's eyes from behind and whispering, "Guess who~?", or dramatizing absurd situations just so Elsa stays with her a little longer. Sometimes she even does those viral pranks Zoey insists on recording:
"Would you still love me if I were a worm?"
Things like that, said with big puppy eyes.
She'll make silly faces or exaggerated gestures when Elsa is being way too serious at a formal event, just to make her smile and relax. Elsa, while quieter, also has a playful side: she'll suddenly run her cold hands down Rumi's back just to hear her squeal, before letting out a soft laugh.
K is for Kisses ˚₊ ⊹
How do they like to kiss you?
In public, they try to keep up appearances. They barely manage to hold hands discreetly, though sometimes Elsa asks Gale to watch the perimeter just so she can steal a quick kiss from Rumi. Overall, she gives small, unexpected kisses: on the forehead, the nose, or the hands, making Rumi feel safe and loved. (And I think it's a bit of a cultural clash, but Elsa usually greets and says goodbye to close loved ones with a soft kiss on the cheek).
Once they are alone, however, it's a completely different story. Rumi's kisses range from sweet and gentle to passionate and urgent. Elsa could be in the kitchen preparing food, and suddenly Rumi decides she needs a kiss right now. Or they'll be lying on the couch, and Rumi demands kisses immediately, threatening to get grumpy if she doesn't get them.
Elsa's lips taste so good—they're addictive. Rumi never knows when it might be the last time, so she kisses as if trying to store every second in her memory: slow, deep, and overflowing with love. Elsa, on her part, completely melts with every single kiss.
L is for Love ˚₊ ⊹
How long does it take for them to realize their love? How do they confess?
Neither of them ever thought they could love or be loved like this. When their hearts started racing uncontrollably whenever they saw each other, they went into full panic mode.
Elsa had a bit of an idea, but she had to consult Kristoff and the trolls to truly understand what she was feeling. Rumi, on the other hand, needed her intense connection to Elsa explained to her like she was a five-year-old.
They keep their feelings hidden for as long as possible because they don't want to ruin the beautiful bond of friendship they share. Each believes the other only sees her as a good friend. They are like a ticking time bomb waiting to explode.
Ultimately, it was when they were on the brink of death that they confessed everything. Amidst the chaos and the terrifying fear of losing each other forever, they let it all out: the love, the fear, everything they had been holding back. After saving all their friends, they kissed with desperation and relief—as if that kiss were the very confirmation their hearts desperately needed.
M is for Memory ˚₊ ⊹
What is their favorite memory?
For Rumi, her favorite memory is the moment Elsa showed her powers without fear. She felt true magic surrounding them. Elsa created ice sculptures in the blink of an eye, light sparkling blizzards flowed around her, and she brought life to the ice with such grace. Rumi stood there completely spellbound, eyes shining and heart beating fast, admiring not just the power, but the beauty and vulnerability Elsa was sharing exclusively with her.
For Elsa, her favorite memory was a night in Rumi's bedroom. She was looking out the window at the lit-up city skyline when she heard the bathroom door open. Her mouth instantly went dry. Rumi walked out slowly toward her, shamelessly showing off all the patterns on her body across her arms, abdomen, and legs. When the moonlight hit her, the patterns glowed like a living prism. Rumi had revealed her true self completely, without any layer hiding who she really was.
N is for Nightmare˚₊ ⊹
What is their worst fear?
It's pretty obvious, but both share the exact same deep fear: hurting the other with their powers.
Rumi fears that one day the demon inside her will take over and start harming everyone she loves. She panics at the thought of shattering the Honmoon again and releasing all the demons, losing control, and especially hurting Elsa.
Elsa fears making a mistake and accidentally hurting Rumi with her magic, just like what happened with Anna in the past. That thought torments her in silence.
Fun fact: In the future, their fears come true. Elsa accidentally hits Rumi with her magic, leaving a permanent white streak in her hair. And Elsa ends up with a large scar on her chest from a slash Rumi gave her with her claws during a moment of lost control.
O is for On Cloud Nine ˚₊ ⊹
How do they behave when they are in love? Can others tell?
Damn lovebirds, get a room!
They aren't very good at hiding their feelings when they're together. Their love is obvious just by looking at them—long, soft glances full of adoration. Rumi, in particular, has to be touching Elsa all the time (a hand on her waist, fingers intertwined, resting her head on her shoulder). If she isn't touching her, she can't relax.
They can be pretty mushy, but everyone lets them be. Anna, Mira, Zoey, and the rest know perfectly well the trauma both girls have carried, so they just smile and give them space. Deep down, they are thrilled for them and love seeing them so deeply in love and at peace.
P is for Pet Names˚₊ ⊹
What do they call their partner?
Both use affectionate pet names in their native languages.
Elsa usually says: "Kjære", "Søta", "Elskede".
Rumi also uses: "Yeobo", "Jagiya", "Aegiya".
Q is for Quality Time ˚₊ ⊹
How do they like to spend time together? What does their ideal date look like?
They'll do anything that has nothing to do with their jobs or missions. The most important thing is tuning out the rest of the world and just being with each other.
Zoey and Mira have literally found them sprawling on the living room floor hanging out. For some reason, Elsa loves being on the floor; Rumi, wanting to be comfortable, snuggles right on top of her like she's her favorite personal mattress. They stay there for hours, whispering, stroking each other's hair, or simply enjoying the quiet together.
They don't have a single defined "ideal date" because just being together is enough. Still, Rumi occasionally surprises Elsa with special plans, like taking her to a massive aquarium where they watched penguins and fish together—and Rumi ended up buying her a giant plush polar bear as a gift.
R is for Rhythm˚₊ ⊹
What song reminds you of them?
Calum Scott - You Are The Reason
It was the first time Rumi ever heard Elsa sing. Elsa was so nervous she almost didn't want to sit at the penthouse piano, but she eventually did. Her trembling fingers began touching the keys, and her soft, crystalline voice filled the entire room.
Rumi froze completely, her heart pounding in her chest. In that precise moment, watching Elsa be so vulnerable and beautiful while dedicating that song to her, she knew without a shadow of a doubt that she was deeply in love.
S is for Security ˚₊ ⊹
How protective are they of you? How do they like to be protected?
Rumi protects Elsa a lot—sometimes too much—but she feels she needs to. She knows everything Elsa has gone through and just wants her to feel completely safe by her side. Although she'd like to say she fully trusts Elsa's ability to take care of herself, she can't help worrying. The idea of some demon or crazy fan laying hands on her makes Rumi a bit paranoid.
The funny thing is that Elsa is more than capable of defending herself, and Rumi knows it. In fact, she knows Elsa is much stronger than she is.
Elsa is protective in her own way: quieter, but just as intense. She knows Rumi is far more professional and level-headed when resolving conflicts, but she will not tolerate anyone disrespecting her girlfriend. Sometimes Rumi has to step in to protect other people from Elsa, because if anyone dares say a bad word about Rumi... oh boy, it does not end well.
T is for Time˚₊ ⊹
How long did it take for the two to get together?
It all started with a misunderstanding that turned into a very sweet and deep friendship.
Rumi originally thought Elsa was going to jump off a bridge, but Elsa was actually just trying to retrieve something Gale had snatched from her. At that time, neither knew about the other's powers or quirks.
Little by little, they got to know each other. Rumi had never had a friend outside the K-pop industry, and with Elsa, everything felt different—more real. Elsa continued the friendship, but her gay heart and weakness for girls with trauma made her fall hard and fast.
For a long time, they longed for each other: lingering looks, excuses to meet up, comfortable silences thick with tension. But neither dared to make the first move. Both thought the same thing: "How could anyone ever love someone as dangerous and full of secrets as me?"
U is for Upset˚₊ ⊹
How do they act when they’re upset?
Both need space to cool down. They need time to clear their minds because they don't want to say terrible things that might hurt each other. Once they calm down, they always want to make the relationship work and are ready to talk it out.
When they do have a big fight, though, it's intense. The Honmoon glows brightly from Rumi's angry shouts, while the room's temperature plummets to sub-zero. Elsa's frost covers everything in white, and a literal snowstorm forms inside the room.
In those moments, third parties have to step in to separate them and help them cool off.
V is for Vaunt˚₊ ⊹
Do they like to show you off?
Rumi's proud and cocky side comes out completely when she's with Elsa. She has so much to show off and can barely contain herself. She'll say to anyone nearby:
"Look, this is Elsa... MY GIRLFRIEND. Isn't she gorgeous?!"
She says it with a huge smile and glowing eyes, almost daring anyone to disagree.
Elsa, while more reserved, shows off in her own way. She posts photos of Rumi on her Instagram (always obscuring her face for privacy), but the affection behind her choices is clear. She posts stories of their intertwined hands, a bouquet of flowers Rumi gave her, or simply a photo of the two of them taken from behind.
W is for Wild Card ˚₊ ⊹
What’s a random fluffy thing they do in your relationship?
Rumi has stretched out several of Elsa's shirts (literally). The reason? Sometimes she slips right under Elsa's shirt just to feel her cold skin against her face and snuggle there. It's her favorite safe space in the world, where she feels protected and peaceful.
Elsa has her own adorable habit: she likes taking naps on Rumi's legs. When Rumi is sitting on the couch, Elsa will sit on the floor, wrap her arms around Rumi's leg, and rest her head on her lap. Rumi softly strokes her hair while Elsa falls asleep.
X is for X-Ray ˚₊ ⊹
How well can they read each other?
Elsa is incredibly observant. She understands Rumi's behavior perfectly: she knows where she leaves her things, how she likes her food prepared, exactly how she takes her tea, and even the smallest shifts in her expression when she's tired or happy.
One day, Rumi asked about her blue glittery blouse. Before she could even finish her sentence, Elsa already had it ready and folded. Another time, Elsa handed her something Rumi hadn't even asked for yet—she just anticipated it.
It took Rumi a little longer. Elsa isn't the most expressive person, and her strict upbringing and long isolation make her feelings hard to decipher at times.
However, Rumi learned to read the subtle signs: the faint tremble in Elsa's hands when she's anxious, a silence that lasts longer than usual, or when she becomes distant and overly refined. That's why Rumi treads lightly—she never wants to say anything that might hurt her. At big events, Rumi notices when Elsa gets overwhelmed and gently pulls her away, giving her space and whispering sweet words to remind her that she is loved and safe.
Y is for Yes ˚₊ ⊹
How would they propose to you?
It was a silent, cold war. Everyone knew that at some point one of them would pop the question, and bets were placed among their friends.
It happened when Elsa was gravely injured. As Rumi pleaded with her through tears to stay alive while waiting for help, Elsa whispered in a weak voice:
"I can't die yet... because I haven't asked you to marry me."
"I'll live if you agree to marry me."
Rumi was overwhelmed by a wave of emotions—fear, relief, love, and happiness bursting in her chest. Later in the hospital, once Elsa stabilized, she asked Anna to bring the velvet box hidden in her jacket. With trembling hands, she slipped the ring onto Rumi's finger.
Rumi didn't stay behind, though. She researched Northuldra traditions thoroughly and organized a grand proposal of her own: gathering hundreds of reindeer to ask for Elsa's hand the traditional way, just as the culture dictated.
Z is for Zen ˚₊ ⊹
What makes them feel calm and at ease?
Simply being together brings them a deep sense of calm that nothing else can replicate.
Feeling Rumi's warm skin against her own grounds Elsa completely. It reminds her that she can touch others without hurting the person she loves most in the world. Rumi becomes her safe haven.
As for Rumi, she finds her peace resting her head against Elsa's chest, listening to the soft, steady rhythm of her heart. That sound makes her feel like she is right where she belongs—at home.

Stubborn Girls
Just thinking about how stubborn girls can be
and how Elsa downplays how reckless she can be
Rumi: No, Elsa, que seas amiga del espíritu del viento no significa que puedas tirarte del ático al maldito suelo. Estoy de acuerdo en que saltamos de un avión, pero eso cuenta.
AND NO
You can’t walk into a burning building, hoping you won’t get burned just because your other friend, the lizard—I mean salamander—is the Spirit of Fire. Fire isn’t friendly!
Elsa: But I survived, ah—
Rumi: I know, but the next time you do that, I’ll tell Anna.
Anna had already told Rumi that Elsa had a Superman complex and put a lot of weight on her shoulders. She warned her that her sister might be reckless, but damn, she didn’t expect that.
Elsa: You wouldn’t dare.
Elsa, honey, you know you shouldn’t challenge Rumi.
Rumi: Anna, hi. I just wanted to tell you that your lovely sister did...
Elsa: Wait, wait!
And the same thing happens with Rumi, but with work—though this is more emotional.
Rumi always takes on too much work, trying to get ahead on tasks that, no matter how hard she tries, can’t be rushed.
Rumi leaves Zoey and Mira her rest ´
Elsa is happy that Rumi is thriving and continuing to grow as an idol, but she notices the signs of someone obsessed with their work because she was that way too. And she doesn’t want Rumi to go through the same thing.
She tries, as gently as possible, to get Rumi to eat or rest, but she’s ignored, and she thinks Rumi is really just distracting her, so she leaves the room like a scolded puppy.
Until she gets a message from Mira
Mira: Put on your damn pants and get us out of here
They’ve been in the music studio since this morning; Mira, she can’t feel her butt anymore
So she slips into her Ice Queen persona with her heart racing a mile a minute and walks back in
Elsa: Rumi, it’s time for dinner
Rumi: Elsa, we really have to...
Elsa gives her a cold stare
Elsa: No.
Rumi: No?
Elsa: I said no, didn’t you get it? Get up and go to dinner, everyone
Rumi: I... Okay...
Now the girls see their fearless leader, left speechless as she follows the order. Zoey stifles a laugh as she watches Rumi’s ears and cheeks turn red.
Everyone knows Rumi has a thing for Elsa when she acts like this
Like parents, like daughters
Someone once said that anxiety comes hand in hand with a maybe… MAYBE a happy ending?
You go into the kitchen and find these two
Yeah, they've given us quite a few scares
To me, both of their eyes seem to glow in the dark, just like Rumi's marks
Sometimes Elsa gets snowflake-shaped markings to adapt to the temperature, or they appear when she's nervous too
great thoughts
So I was thinking of ideas for how to draw Elsa and Rumi in the middle of their romance—sweet and cheesy
I shouldn’t have left my playlist on shuffle
These girls have so much potential for a damn dark romance
Both obsessed with each other
Rumi, as a hunter and billionaire, has the resources to investigate her—finding out where her Airbnb is, what places she goes to—while stalking her like prey from afar, taking occasional photos of Elsa, watching how her skin glows in the sun and her eyes sparkle, oh, and that wicked little smile that got her started on all of this.
And Elsa? Oh, Elsa—for the first time in a long time, she’s enjoying the attention. She lets her beloved hunter know where she is, dressing up to put on a show for her. Rumi sees her as a defenseless lamb—too bad she’ll soon discover the wolf’s fangs.
A little cover for my current Elsa x Rumi fic I told you so (chapter two is up now) lowkey obsessed with this AU atm
