I just realized this, but in Frozen Fever, when the snowgies start appearing out of nowhere, Kristoff has no idea where they came from. It’s safe to assume he knew Elsa was making them, but he doesn’t know why.

I just found it hilarious to think that Kristoff spent the whole time until the sisters returned thinking Elsa was messing with him on purpose and making his job of protecting the ice cream cake unnecessarily difficult.

I just wanted to share a headcanon I had since 2023, and I think it's the one of the most TOUCHING headcanons I've ever had about our favorite ship.... 😭😭🩷🩷🩷💕🔥❄️

According to the World of Frozen gazette, after snowball accident in Frozen Fever, that first was supposed to be stupid gag, CANONICALLY TURNED INTO SOMETHING WORSE.

According to this gazette, Hans is INJURED. we can think that that was temporary (it probably was 🩷💕💕 happily), but if not... people talked about it and I think HANS AFTER THIS ACCIDENT, AT LEAST FOR FEW MONTHS, might be paraplegic.... and wheelchair using (that would fit his resilence so much 🩷🩷💕💔💔)....

And here comes Elsa, who found out about the accident by Hans's brothers mention at the dinner in Arendelle probably (I HATE THEM...) and with all the guilt she felt, she just wanted to help her former enemy recover... And just imagine.

Her wheeling him. Her helping him to stand on his own. And Hans doing small things, just to show HOW GRATEFUL HE IS. AND THAT WOULD HEAL BOTH OF THEM, IN SUCH A UNEXPECTED WAY 🩷🩷💕💔

+ I just think seeing disabled character in Disney would be heart wrenching, but also fitting all the resilence Hans ever had 🥺🥺🥺💕💕❄️🩷💔

so she finds it hard to make friends, meaning it’s a little difficult to bring her out of her shell at first 

but since you were friends with her sister, anna, she quickly realized talking to you was easy for her

if she were being honest, though, she thanks anna for suggesting the idea of being more than friends with you since she’s such a reserved person when you initially meet her

she start to see you in a different light after a few months of being your friend and getting to know you 

you’d notice how her cheeks would suddenly flush red for seemingly no reason, which in turn would make you smile 

mostly because anna had told you forever ago about her sister’s crush on you, but you weren’t going to let elsa know that any time soon

eventually, when you realized elsa probably wasn’t going to be the one to change your friendship into a romantic relationship 

so you decided to make the first move

and elsa had never agreed to something so fast in her life!

ONTO THE ROMANCE, BABY

long walks together throughout the kingdom 

receiving frozen flowers as gifts (along with chocolates, which you share since she likes them so much) 

creating snow sculptures and going ice skating when those who live in arendelle ask for a snow day

being with elsa is everything you dreamed of

The Empress' New Clothes ❄️

Overthinking and overanalyzing Frozen outfits and what they mean for the characters again...

The more I think about Elsa's fashion sense, the more it makes me laugh.

Before Elsa's transformation in the climax of Let It Go, the only clothes we see her wear are... well, for lack of a better word, nothing like that. Of course, this is because those are the kinds of attire "expected" of royals. It's possible that she does get a say in what she would like to wear but just has more pressing things to worry about (concealing and don't-feel-ing) than whether or not she likes the royal outfits given to her. She did say in A Sister More Like Me written by Barbara Jean Hicks...

"It was important, as a princess, that I looked my best."

Obviously, she understands the weight of keeping up such an appearance. That's also not to say that I think Elsa hated her old clothes, but I believe if she was given complete freedom over what she gets to wear, they would be different.

Luckily, we do get that moment of freedom in Let It Go 😁

At first glance, one would think Elsa just "covered" her coronation dress with her magic, and that the gown is still under there somewhere. But we know this isn't the case as she physically alters it by removing the "turtle neck" and adding a slit on the skirt area. Not to mention, she also turns her black flats into pointed heels. R.I.P. coronation outfit!

So... okay... wow... that's the kind of outfits Elsa prefers to wear after all! She likes the slits. She likes the bardot tops. She likes the low necklines. She likes the capes. She likes the sparkles 😌 So much so that it becomes a distinct recurring style for her in the following films, and everyone knows it! In the Junior Novelization of Olaf's Frozen Adventure retold by Suzanne Francis, we even see Anna tease Elsa when she gifts her her party dress which Elsa immediately knows is for her.

"Yup. That one's yours. How'd you guess?" Anna teased.

And how could we forget Olaf (and Kristoff) also teasing her during Charades Night in Frozen II? (I'll be assuming they meant Elsa's fashion or body language, and not the literal "Here I stand!" scene as they weren't there when that happened. Elsa "retelling" the Frohana that musical number frame by frame seems more unlikely 😆)

I'm the last person to ask about historical accuracy, but I don't believe slits were commonplace during her era, especially not for royalty. But I have read that it was normal for queens to be trendsetters. So, I am very curious where Queen Elsa took inspiration from to give herself that look 🤭 I wonder if she's always been curious about other styles since she was a teen. I don't cherish the idea that she was depressed every second of her life hidden away; there must be some moments when she just engages in hobbies she likes. I headcanon that she would draw herself (or random characters) in the outfits she preferred as an outlet, as she was probably too shy to request for something similar. It's so wholesome to me because I knew I was exactly like that when I was little—imagining myself in "big girl" clothes that I couldn't be caught dead asking for. So, yes, I might be projecting quite a bit 😅

Other than dissecting the symbolism tied to it, imagining Elsa as a character who just really really likes those kinds of outfits is a lot of fun for me. I noticed Elsa never really address the clothes she wears, she just lets other people react to them, and thanks them for their compliments. But she doesn't need to say anything to let us know that, as the Gen Z slang for it goes... 🎀 she's just a girl 🎀

SOOOOO I'm watching frozen w/ my little sister, and it's bringing back fierce opinions younger me had. And new Opinions that I have now.

Hate that Hans was the bad guy smh. Worse thing ever, little me hated it, and bigger me still hates that even to this day.

My headcanon: Anna, Hans, and Kristoff are all in a polyamorous relationship! ☝️

Idk how it would have happened but it should have happened. I really like Hans as a character and actually now that I'm watching it, I guess it makes sense that he's the bad guy, he has the motives and shit, just the twist villain with him didn't feel right but also it kinda does? Like I can see it works but I don't like the execution? That's just me though.

Anyways my headcanon involves Hans actually caring about Anna and they kiss but it doesn't work. Like what Hans has for her isn't love it's infatuation. Or desire idk, so she thinks that she's actually in love with Kristoff and stuff and so she goes to try and find him. And she is kinda in love with Kristoff, and Hans and her talk and he's understanding and let's her go, or he acts like he's ok with her being in love with another guy and so he's conflicted but he ultimately chooses to let her go. He goes to get Elsa and Anna goes with Olaf to get Kristoff, Uhhhh the bad guy can be the little old man or someone else that was introduced in the beginning idk. Could have introduced another bad guy in the beginning (in this au) anyways everything happens the same towards the end only Anna stops someone who isn't Hans or helps Elsa in some way, elsa hugs Anna proving true love isn't just romantic it can also be familial or platonic or whatever. Kristoff and Anna are dating and Hans has to go back to his kingdom. Also Hans having 12 brothers? Hans saying that he could have caused an accident towards Elsa? Yea that man's family is probably evil. His family is probably more dramatic and evil and stuff. Where else did he get these crazy ideas?

Anyways continuing this au arendale gets more political, Hans has made an impression on the people soooo excuses on how he can go back to arendale, him and Anna catch up, uhhh something happens, now he's forced to spend time with Kristoff, they don't like each other and are jealous of one another, Kristoff fears that Anna will leave him for Hans especially since when her and Hans reunited they had such good chemistry. He calls him a pretty boy (motherfucker thinks he's pretty) Hans calls him a brute underneath his breath (he thinks Kristoff is hot asf) Kristoff is very nice and Hans is kinda like a snake. Anna likes them both.

It's is a "love triangle" Anna wants them to get along Hans Is in love with Anna and unknowingly falls in love with Kristoff, Kristoff is in love with Anna and is also unknowingly fallen in love with Hans. Hans realizes his feelings first. Is in pure agony. I think Kristoff is next actually and he at first thinks he just starts to like Hans as a friend, cue bromance, realizes he's in love with Hans, panics cause instead of worrying about Anna he's worried about himself. Calms down and becomes the most composed since he knows about Polyamory since he grew up with the love experts, now planning on what to do next.

Anna is the last one to realize (she's kinda slow when it comes to romance) panics the most. Goes to the love trolls, cue musical, realizes she is polyamorous and that she might be able to have both.

Hans is dramatic and hates himself. Tries to leave. Anna and Kristoff talk. Uhhhhh something something, Elsa is AroAce and discovers her true love is politics (or is lesbian, both? Her true love is still politics idk). Some bad guy causes trouble, something something Hans, something something Anna and Kristoff tell each other their feelings. Anna and Kristoff try to save Hans. Hans becomes the damsel in distress (Lol). They all tell each other their feelings. Now in a poly relationship.

Elsa's pov is a political drama and The others are a romance.

Hans is introduced to the love experts. (His in-laws)

Being Anna and Elsa's Little Sister

Request: Headcanons for being Anna and Elsa’s younger sibling?

A/N: I had a lot of ideas, so this is really long and spans the two main movies!!! Hope that's okay! Since this will be coming out on Monday, Happy Easter???

Frozen

Growing up you were very close to Anna. Because of Elsa's powers, she was locked away. You weren't really there (being too young when it happened) so you had no idea what had happened to Anna as a kid. In fact, all of your earliest memories were of you and Anna. You barely remembered Elsa.

Of course, that all changed after your parents passed on and Elsa was to be coronated as Queen. You and Anna were so excited for the castle gates to be opened. It was Anna's dream to be married to a handsome prince, it was yours to see and explore the world.

Meeting Elsa for what you remembered as the first time was intimidating. She was nothing like Anna, she was stoic, focused, quiet, much like your parents had been.

Everything happens so fast at that party. One second you're awkwardly avoiding Elsa (because you don't know where Anna wandered off to and being left alone with your eldest sister is awkward) and the next Elsa and Anna are arguing.

You try to calm Anna down, but she keeps prodding and Elsa reveals to the entire kingdom that she has ice powers.

Instead of leaving Hans in charge while she goes to save your eldest sister, Anna entrusts the kingdom to you. It's a lot of pressure on you, especially since you were never supposed to bear the burden in the first place. Constantly you hear the kingdom murmur about how you're unfit to lead.

The other delegates constantly question your decisions to help the people of Arendelle and this leads you to constantly question yourself. The worst part of it all though is Hans, where you struggle he succeeds. He takes over the majority of your duties with ease and acceptance that you don't garner. He finds every chance he can to undermine you.

The two of you battle for the position until your sisters horse comes back with no rider and Hans heads off to find her. With him gone, you step into the role of leadership with a newfound confidence. There's no way you're letting Hans take your kingdom, it seems like he really wants it.

With Anna's frozen heart and Elsa locked in the dungeon, you're the last thing standing between Hans and the throne. Unfortunately for him, it's not as easy as he'd thought it'd be to convince you to step down.

With you defending the throne, he sees the best course of action will be to kill Elsa, let Anna die and convince you to marry him somehow (then stage a little accident). Of course, his plan falls through, Anna saves Elsa from being killed and Elsa's love for her sister thaws Anna's frozen heart. The two walk away mostly unscathed with a whole bunch of new friends.

They're super worried about you, but proud of you for standing your ground. Elsa works hard after that to build a relationship with both her little sisters, although she was closer to Anna when you all were kids she tries her best to get to know you as well.

You constantly tease Anna about Kristoff, but you get along with him extremely well. He's seen more of the world than any of you. His stories of ice collecting fascinate you.

Frozen 2

When things start to go awry in Arendelle, Elsa and Anna decide to go and find out what's wrong. But being their baby sister, they forbid you from tagging along (which is super annoying!!!). They leave you once more in charge of the kingdom in their abscence.

You pass the time spending time with the people, wishing you were out there with your sisters, Kristoff and Olaf.

There isn't much to do while they're gone, the people can't go back to their homes so you try your best to comfort and reassure them that Anna and Elsa will fix everything and be back soon. Eventually they do return home, but they're both completely new people (okay not completely but they've definitely grown!)

They explain the truth behind your heritage and Anna takes over as Queen while Elsa chooses to spend more time with your mothers tribe. She still keeps in touch frequently.

After all of this, you finally get your chance to explore the world. Anna is sad to see you go, but you promise to come back and visit often.

Throughout the years, you, Anna and Elsa come together many times to spend time together especially when you miss each other. But you're all happy living your own separate lives.

And yes, Anna and Elsa still consistently worry about you even if you're doing fine on your own.
