Genshin Impact AU. For those who don't know the plot. Errrr.
No need to search for it. I just borrowed some of its plots...just remember the names down below and and you'll be fine.
Mondstadt – Govern by the Anemo Archon ( Namikaze Minato )
Liyue – Govern by the Geo Archon ( Uzumaki Mito )
Inazuma - Govern by the Electro Archon ( Uchiha Izuna )
Sumeru – Govern by the Dendro Archon ( Senju Hashirama )
Fontaine – Govern by the Hydro Archon ( Senju Tobirama )
Natlan - Govern by the Pyro Archon ( Uchiha Madara )
Snezhnaya– Govern by the Cryo Archon ( I'm still thinking who to put here 😅😆, so I'll just leave this blank for the meantime )
Archons – the title of the Gods from across the 7 Nation. Each of them won a seat in Celestia ( Heaven ) after the Archon War.
Gnosis – a valuable item ( that looks like chess pieces ) Celestia gave the Archons as a proof of their position as an Elemental Archon. It could also directly give them access to Celestia's energy.
Celestia – a floating island in the Sky that represents as a Heaven.
( In the game the player will have to choose between a female and male twin that will represents them as they explore the continent of Teyvat )
But for the sake of this story. Naruto is of course a solo protagonist.
And Kurama is Paimon ( the Protagonist Guide )
Naruto shifted nervously in his seat, his fingers tightening around the warm porcelain teacup as he stole another glance at the imposing man seated across from him.
Unlike most gods, the Lord of Hydro preferred to be addressed by his human name rather than his divine title. Even so, Naruto still felt like he was one wrong word away from being dragged into a Fontaine courtroom.
"Just call me Senju Tobirama." The Archon himself had said those words.
Naruto still wasn't brave enough to do it.
"Lord Tobirama" felt infinitely safer.
The Hydro Archon couldn't have been more different from his older brother, the Dendro Archon.
Lord Hashirama was cheerful, approachable, and laughed with the ease of someone who had never worried a day in his immortal life. He welcomed strangers with open arms, happily shared meals with anyone who wandered into Sumeru, and somehow managed to make even gods seem approachable.
Senju Tobirama...on the other hand...
Tobirama was the exact opposite.
Calm. Reserved. Disciplined
Every movement carried an effortless grace befitting the ruler of the Nation of Justice. There was something elegant about him that reminded Naruto of another Archon—the Anemo Archon, Namikaze Minato. Both gods carried themselves with quiet dignity, though Tobirama's sharp crimson eyes lacked Minato's gentle warmth.
Naruto quickly looked away before the Archon noticed him staring.
He raised the cup of hot chocolate to his lips, taking an unnecessarily long sip to avoid speaking.
How was he supposed to ask a god if there was any way to return to Earth?
Excuse me, Lord Hydro, do you happen to know how I can leave your planet?
That sounded like a fantastic way to get arrested.
"...Are you alright, Mr. Uzumaki?"
Naruto nearly choked. "N-No! I mean yes! I mean...I'm fine!"
Across the table, Kurama merely snorted.
The enormous fox, somehow shrunken down to the size of a large dog, ignored Naruto's suffering entirely as he shamelessly helped himself to Fontaine's luxurious desserts. The plate that had once held a mountain of delicate pastries was already frighteningly empty.
Naruto cleared his throat.
"U-Um...can I ask you something...Lord Tobirama?"
The Hydro Archon inclined his head.
Naruto hesitated. He had a thousand questions.
Questions about this world.
Questions about the Seven.
Questions about Celestia.
Questions about how in the world a twenty-year-old Japanese shut-in had somehow died and woken up inside a world that shouldn't even exist.
"...Should I avoid doing something over there?"
For the briefest moment, a strange expression crossed the Archon's face. It disappeared so quickly Naruto almost thought he'd imagined it.
Tobirama exhaled a long, weary sigh. "The only advice I can offer..." he paused.
"...is to avoid offending the Pyro Archon."
Naruto immediately sat straighter.
"The Lord of Natlan is a brutish, uneducated tyrant." Tobirama's face didn't even shift — he was that expressionless.
"...If he decides you've insulted him..."
Tobirama looked Naruto directly in the eyes.
"...he'll force you to participate in his Game of War as punishment."
Naruto's face drained of all color.
"...You fight until the Archon is satisfied."
"...Or until you're dead."
Naruto silently thanked every god in existence that Tobirama had personally taught him how to walk beneath Fontaine's seas.
Apparently it wasn't simply underwater breathing.
It was a Hydro blessing granted by the Archon himself.
As long as Naruto remained within the waters of Fontaine, the ocean would protect him.
If he ever accidentally committed another crime...in another Nation
...the sea of Teyvat was probably the safest hiding place on the continent.
Silence settled over the office once more.
Naruto stared into his cup.
Lord Hashirama had admitted that, despite being the Dendro Archon, he didn't possess every answer in the world.
Hashirama had also said something else.
"My little brother is probably the smartest among all Seven."
If anyone knew how someone from another world could return home...
Black flames erupted from an empty space.
Tobirama moved before Naruto could even blink.
An immense wall of water surged upward, intercepting the jet-black inferno with a deafening roar.
Steam engulfed the office.
Naruto's entire body locked up.
The pressure filling the room was unlike anything he had ever experienced.
His lungs refused to work.
His knees nearly buckled beneath him.
It felt as though the air itself had become molten iron.
Cool Hydro energy washed over him.
Like gentle rain after unbearable heat.
The terrifying pressure eased immediately.
Standing before him, Tobirama hadn't moved an inch from his protective stance.
Beyond the curtain of steam...Someone stepped out of the black flames.
Spiky midnight hair. Broad shoulders. Ancient crimson eyes.
Within those eyes spun strange black tomoe that seemed capable of swallowing the world itself.
Naruto forgot how to breathe.
The shameless fox retreated straight into Naruto's inner dimension without so much as a warning.
"YOU BASTARD!" Naruto screamed internally.
The fox's only response was a lazy yawn. "You're on your own."
The newcomer smiled. It wasn't a pleasant smile.
"You invited some strange child to tea..." the man started to slowly pace around.
"...yet you couldn't even bother inviting me, Focalors?"
Pure Pyro energy flooded every corner of the office.
Tobirama slowly rose to his full height.
His expression had become glacial.
"Lord Madara." He greeted.
"What, in Celestia's name, are you doing in Fontaine?"
The Pyro Archon barely spared him a glance.
Instead, those terrifying red eyes settled upon Naruto.
Naruto wished he could disappear.
"Just because you defeated Izuna in a duel and earned his respect..."
"...doesn't mean I'll welcome you into Natlan."
The Hydro Archon's divine name?
Tobirama pinched the bridge of his nose.
"I've already promised Mr. Uzumaki safe passage."
"...I'll visit Natlan for one week."
"You will?" The tone of the voice of the Pyro Archon made Naruto wants to shift uncomfortably. Is that longing?.
"...if you allow Mr. Uzumaki to travel through your nation without interference."
"...would willingly come to Natlan?"
His voice had become strangely hopeful.
Naruto looked back and forth between them.
Something felt..very wrong.
Madara suddenly exploded.
"I demand that you come with me!"
"It has been centuries since you've visited Natlan!"
"Have mercy on your poor husband!"
Naruto's brain stopped functioning.
His jaw slowly fell open.
Wasn't every history book in Teyvat adamant that those two couldn't stand each other?
Because the Dendro Archon seemed utterly convinced that his younger brother was incapable of romance.
Wait, a damn minute. Was this why Mr. Minato looked amused when he asked about the Hydro and Pyro Archon?. Of course as the Wind God he probably already knows they're married!.
Tobirama coughed into his fist.
"The last time I visited Natlan...your citizens refused to let me leave."
Naruto noticed something horrifying.
Tobirama actually looked traumatized.
"They surrounded the palace."
"They blocked every road."
"They attempted to dismantle my ship."
"I only escaped because an entire legion of Oceanids forcibly extracted me from your nation."
Madara looked entirely unapologetic. "It wasn't my fault."
"I merely announced that my husband was visiting."
"You announced it to the entire nation." Tobirama frowns.
"They were excited." Madara wheedled.
"They declared me their Mother Archon." Tobirama stated bluntly.
Madara and Naruto are both speechless.
Naruto had absolutely no idea what expression he was making anymore.
Tobirama continued, sounding exhausted beyond words.
"They composed songs and dance so happily....they pulled me into the center of the dance floor and I think your tribe of Collective of Plenty had pulled something from my shoulder."
"They also attempted to crown me." Tobirama's face scrunch. "They proposed national holidays and then they started arguing over whose Tribe I should permanently reside in. I think the Scions of Canopy and the People of the Springs are ready to throw down anyone who argue with them. "
Madara scratched his cheek. "...They were just happy."
"They attempted to kidnap me." Tobirama deadpan.
"...Affectionately." Madara added smoothly.
"That sentence should not exist."
Madara grinned without a hint of shame. "I simply wanted to spend time with my husband. But because you insist on drowning yourself in paperwork......you never visit." then he pouted.
The Hydro Archon closed his eyes.
The silence stretched for several seconds.
"...Fine. I'll stay for two months." Tobirama said decisively.
Madara's expression transformed instantly. The terrifying, warlike god who had entered surrounded by black flames now looked almost catlike.
His crimson eyes softened. A low rumbling purr escaped his chest.
Naruto recognized that look immediately.
Without making a sound, Naruto quietly stood. He took one step backward.
Then another. Then another.
Naruto reached the door. He slowly turned the handle. Quietly opened it. Slipped outside then closed it gently. He then immediately broke into a full sprint down the hallway.
There was no universe where he was staying anywhere near two married Archons who hadn't seen each other in centuries.
If he accidentally witnessed whatever happened next...
The Pyro Archon would absolutely incinerate him to preserve his dignity.
Naruto very much enjoyed having all four limbs attached to his body.
He could always come back next week.
After he made sure Lord Madara had returned to Natlan.
Inside the office, silence lingered for a few moments.
Madara watched the closed door.
"...Your guest ran away."
Tobirama massaged his temples before shooting his husband an exasperated glare.
Madara looked genuinely offended.
"You arrived by tearing open reality with black flames."
"...It's dramatic." Madara spreads his arms.
"You shattered three windows." Tobirama looked at them dismayed. The Melusines would panic and reprimand Madara again.
"They can be repaired." Madara winced as he looked at them.
"You also melted my ceiling."
Madara glanced upward. "...I thought that was decorative." He looked confused.
Outside the Palais Mermonia, Naruto was still running.
He didn't stop until he reached the Quartier Narbonnais street, bent over with his hands on his knees as he struggled to catch his breath.
"...Kurama." he called as he panted.
The fox lazily reappeared beside him. "Yeah?"
"...You knew they were married." Naruto accused the Fox.
Kurama grinned with every single tooth he possessed. "I did."
Naruto stared at him in utter betrayal. "You let me walk into that?"
The fox laughed so hard he rolled onto the pavement, clutching his stomach. "Oh, kit....that was the funniest thing I've seen in the last five hundred years. Aside from Khaenri'ah destruction of course."
Naruto decided, then and there, that one day he was going to throw Kurama into Romaritime Harbor. He's sure even Kurama with his floating form can't fight gravity if he's thrown down. He'll also do it just once. Okay, maybe twice. Kurama had it coming.
The nine tailed fox continued laughing at him.
