ă¡:â§:¡ HER EYES MOVED down to the small giraffe in her hands, knowing part of her felt the same way too. She didnât truly understand what the purpose of it was, but it wouldnât stop her from holding onto it, wondering if it could in some way make things a little less stressful. âThatâs fine, Iâve got plenty to judge you for,â she explained. Holding it close to her heart, she fiddled with the tuft of hair on top of the giraffe. Could she even tell him that she planned on keeping it for reassurance if she ever needed it? No, that would be incredibly silly. âKeep it. Put it on my dresser.â A small laugh left her mouth as she thought of the perfect reason. âYou ever look at something or someone and think âtheyâre too cute, thereâs got to be something dark or wrong about themâ? Thatâs what this is. Itâll fuel my dark desires,â Bella explained, hoping heâd believe her. He probably wouldnât, but that wouldnât stop her from trying.Â
WITH A SCOFF, Sirius just crossed his arms. âNow, thatâs not fair,â he said with an over dramatic pout. He raised an eyebrow as she answered his question. âIn order to completely forget about it, right?â he teased, chuckling slightly as he allowed his body to relax. Heâd never get tired of this friendship that they had. She was one of the few people that he felt he could still get away with this around. Her next words caused his eyebrow to raise in pure judgement. âThat is the absolute lamest thing I have ever heard come out of your mouth,â he told her, shaking his head.Â
