Okay listen to this what If Obi-wan was actually Luke and Leias dad, and that’s why Anakin turned to the dark side, he knew that.there was something going on between Padme and Obi-Wan and he still believed that he was the father of luke, when it actuality it was Obi-wan.
Just think about it, most girls never date anyone younger than them, it’s considered repulsive, but Obi-wan is older and wiser and that’s totally a kink, most girls tend to date older anyway.
Just think about It, she could have married Anakin to protect her relationship with Obi-wan, anakin was just a padwan he wasn’t even a Jedi yet, but Obi-wan was a Jedi he had more to lose if their relationship came out, and even if that wasn’t the case, Padme repeatedly told Anakin that she was not interested him, so why would she ‘fall in love with him’ he was a complete psychpath she either feared for her life or Anakin used the force to make her fall in love with him.
Throughout the whole prequel trilogy Obi-wan has considerably lighter hair than Anakin, and Luke had light hair and blue eyes just like Obi-wan, also in the prequel it never explicitly states that Anakin is the father, and in the originals the only one who ever says that he is LUKE’S father is Darth Vader himself, he always thought that he was the father when in reality it was Obi-wan all along… but obi-wan was sworn to the Jedi, right? So was Anakin.
Anakin continuously disobeyed the Jedi code, and when did Obi-wan kept reminding Anakin about the Jedi code? He only kept reminding Anakin when he was with padme. The Chancellor even saw what was going with Obi-wan and Padme stating…

Anakin: not fit? Why would anyone think that?

Also throughout tPM and AOtC padme is always worried about Obi-Wan, Especially in RotS even when her husband was in danger she continouslly asks in Obi-wan is okay..also there is a ten year gape between tPM and AotC where, Anakin states he hasn’t seen Padme within those years. That means that they could have possibly been seeing each other.

This is why anakin turned to the dark side, he truly believed that Obi-Wan was trying to get with Padme, and she never tells anakin it’s explictly his kid, he just assumed it was his kid.
AT the end of RotS you get a glimpse of it when anakin knows

George Lucas intended to make in more open in third movie but was unable to, due to editing and time restrictions, but it is Obidala is Hinted at within the prequel, not as an official couple but as love interests.
