I found what best works for me is jotting important vocabulary words that my professor emphasizes in the lecture slides. How I best do this is by writing the title of the slide in a ribbon header. Next, I highlight the term and write the definitions next to the highlighted term. If there’s multiple definitions, I like to write them under the highlighted term in bullet point style.
