P: It's competitive, definitely, but I'm sure one of those spots will be yours.
P: There's so much to do here! I'm not sure where to start. Maybe Gatorland ...
J: I really hope so. I'm just trying to keep my head up and show them what I got.
J: That sounds cool, you should go for sure.
P: Wish you were here, but I'll share photos!

P: Don't put too much pressure on yourself. You're great, and someone will see that.
J: I'm trying not to. But it's hard and a lot of players want to get on to a team and there aren't a lot of spots.
P: It's competitive, definitely, but I'm sure one of those spots will be yours.

J: I was pretty great at it if I get to say so.
J: It's in a couple of days, so I'm just trying to find the right balance to be in the right state of mind and not to tired.
P: Don't put too much pressure on yourself. You're great, and someone will see that.

P: I've arrived safely in Orlando!
J: That's good to hear. And sorry for not being able to join you and be your personal bringer of breakfast.
P: I do miss you bringing me breakfast.
P: I understand though. When's your next tryout again?

P: I've arrived safely in Orlando!
jcrdanfoster:
Anything I can help with?
Maybe some coffee and breakfast I can get something on the way back from my run.
If you don’t mind, that would be awesome.
jcrdanfoster:
That’s good.
Not much really. Maybe going for a run. There aren’t any tryouts just yet. I’m just glad that I don’t have that big of a hangover.
Well, I have one.
I really don't want to get out of bed.
jcrdanfoster:
I do remember everything. And I have to say that last night was pretty great. And as far as what happened I think we didn’t do anything we didn’t want to.
It seems like we're on the same page, so that's good.
So what are you up to today?
jcrdanfoster:
It was and I’m glad you thought so too. Why? You need me to fill you in on what happened?
No, I remember everything perfectly. Do you?
Last night was something else. Actually all of yesterdays was something else.
It really was. ... What’s the last thing you remember?
jcrdanfoster:
It had been too long since he had done something like this. He liked it, and he liked her. Maybe it was because they had actually gotten to know each other before, and talked about things. So far the time they had spent together had been fun, a lot of fun, and who knew, maybe they would be able to continue part of this trip together and not just meet up here and there. “Yeah,” he replied, a hand resting in the sand as he licked his lips looking at her, “for sure,” he smiled at her, “and if I’m honest here, I don’t mind continue this for a bit.”
Paige laughed softly. Well, she wouldn't mind either. She was very much enjoying kissing Jordan when flashing lights caught her attention. She parted from him and looked over his shoulder to get a better look. "I think the cops are here to break up the party," she said, nodding her head in confirmation a few moments later. "Yup, people are leaving." She wasn't surprised that the cops had shown up. The party had gotten pretty wild. "Let's call it a night," she suggested, standing up and brushing the sand from her dress. Paige let Jordan walk her back to her place. She gave him one last, lingering kiss at the door and then disappeared inside, flopping down on the bed. As she drifted off, she wondered if they would even remember tonight come morning.
jcrdanfoster:
He knew that it might not have been the best idea to kiss her. He had no idea on what that actually would mean in the end but he had gone for it because it was what he wanted in that moment. It was a relief when she kissed him back, and then let him know that he hadn’t read it completely wrong. “That’s good,” he replied, and he leaned into the kiss, wrapping his arm around her. Lips moving together, as he deepened the kiss. It had been too long since he had kissed someone, maybe he should have kissed her at the graduation party, there had been a moment or two when he had thought about doing just that, who knew what that would have meant.
Her fingers brushed the nape of his neck as she kept him close, her other hand resting lightly on his chest. It had been awhile since she'd even been remotely interested in anyone, but in that moment, Paige realized that she kind of liked Jordan. Not only was he easy on the eyes, but he was also easy to be around. They had fun together. It was weird that they hadn't interacted until the graduation party since they'd been in the same orbit throughout college, but Paige was glad that they finally had. "Well, this was unexpected," she murmured, parting from him to take a breath. It was clear from the smile on her face that she'd meant unexpected in a good way.
jcrdanfoster:
Jordan was glad that it had been as easy as it was to move them through the crowd. They had ended up on the beach pretty far away from the party. He could hear the music, but it wasn’t loud it was just something that let them know where they were. He buried his toes in the sand as they sat down, just watching the ocean, feeling the wind in his face. He was glad that he hadn’t had more to drink. He smiled as he turned to her. He knew that he probably was about to do something he shouldn’t, but it was something he had thought about more than once, and he knew that if his friends were there with him, they’d tell him to just go for it. He pushed a hand down in the sand and turned to her, leaning closer, “I really hope I’m not reading things wrong,” he said, probably more to himself than to Paige, as he closed the small gap between him, his lips brushing against hers in a soft kiss.
Paige had been completely taken in by the view in front of her when Jordan spoke, so she'd been completely unaware of his proximity to her until that moment. When she turned her head to face him and her eyes locked on his, she felt her breath hitch in her throat. She could have turned away from him as he leaned in. She probably should have, but she let her instincts take over and stayed right where she was. She was attracted to Jordan, and it was just a kiss. "You're not," she assured him and then she brought her lips to his again, deepening the kiss.
