"Queen Calanthe"

Drawn for a special edition commissioned by the AST publishing house.

✨ Cover illustration for the last issue of Apparition Literary Magazine. Unfortunately, I don't think it ever got released before the magazine closed.

It's supposed to be a callback to an earlier cover I did for them in 2019: the same character, but older, more experienced, with even more magical coins and a fancy armour. That first illustration was one of my earliest paid gigs. It's nice to see how far you've come!

Realized that I completely forgot to post this comic all in one piece as I initially planned to!

For those who missed it the first time - this is the "origins" of the "Disgraced" version of my nameless Dark Urge character, in which he loses his duel against Orin and has to find alternative ways to stay out of Bhaal's grasp... How lucky for him that he has a loving partner that's eager to help ;)
