I’ll keep this short, but I am seriously freaking out.

When I woke up this morning, I headed upstairs to grab some breakfast from the kitchen. There was no one there, and as I ate, I sat there on my phone, hanging out. Everything seemed pretty normal, at least as far as I could tell. That changed when I heard the footsteps.

You know how you can tell who’s walking down the hallway or whatever based on just footsteps? When you’ve really been living with your family for a while, you begin to pick up on the way they walk, and it becomes second nature, at least it did for me.
