guys , i have a question. If caine is in love with jax who is transfem, does it mean that caine is het ? Some people say that he's pan , but it doesn't make sense to me , cuz transfem jax is a woman , and if a man is attracted to a woman , he is het and not pan ? Being in a relationship doesn't change someone's ability to be attracted to people. You can be attracted to various genders and still be in a monogamous 'het' relationship.
Also some pan people consider their attraction to gender queer or transgender people as separate from their attraction to cis people (ex. Different preferences regarding appearance or presentation). Pan is generally considered 'attraction regardless of gender' or 'attracted to the person not the body'
I personally am both genderfluid and Bisexual, and describe my attraction to binarygender people as the same regardless of gender assigned at birth. Aka, hot lady hot, hot man hot, dont care whats in their pants.
