AU is for Undertale. Undertale is owned by Toby Fox. I just made this lovely AU. Paint Tale is still a work in progress at this point but please feel free to ask questions for the characters or the creator, me. Fluffaros.
Redesigned Frisk for Paint Tale. It's still my baby and so glad I can give them a look that's not just a very generic Frisk kinda thing. Not that that's bad, I just wanted something different for my AU now.
These two don't really have stats and...this is my first official designs for them. Even when I've drawn Chara before...it never felt official, more of a placeholder. Chara Some connection with Gaster and Frisk No soul to speak of but has heightened emotions Reasons for her want to destroy monsters is unclear Constantly has black paint dripping from both her eyes and sometimes her mouth. I say her but you can make Chara or Frisk whatever gender you want...or no gender. That is also a thing Flowey No soul and is faking all of his emotions, like a psychopath Seems unstable and to be partially "melting" Is actually part of the landscape but because of determination injected, he can morph into it and appear in various locations with ease. Doesn't trust or like anyone Wants to feel again but despite everything, he can't.

Title: Sans’ Regret
After being woke up from a nap and a nightmare by his brother, Paint Tale Sans finds himself reliving a few events and being filled with regret and grief.
The snow felt so solid under thier feet, crunching loudly to the smaller skeleton that walked in this beautiful landscape of white. The taller one seemed unfazed, talking a mile a minute about several different topics. A name came up a few times. Sans. The skeleton that was dwarfed by his companion, the Great Papyrus, and clad in blue.
It was all white noise to him. He couldn't focus, it was like he was half asleep despite being in this freezing weather with a bundle of energy next to him he called his Brother. Said skeleton had woken him up from a bad dream. A nightmare. He'd played it off like he always did but the images in it hadn't left.
Red.
Blood.
Gasps for breath.
Orange.
White.
The fragmented part of his skull started to morph and drip like a raincloud. His left eye started to tear up, his right unable to cry because of the constant leaking of paint from it. The blue river on his cheek had increased though. His bones were beginning to fragment more and more as he started to panic and bury himslef into the softness of his sweater collar and fur hood.
Silence.
He had stopped moving at some point and he looked up, Papyrus seemed greatly concerned. Rushing up, the taller skeleton knealt down to touch their foreheads together. He was feeling for a fever, no doubt. There was none but there was a choked sobbing that Sans couldn't help despite being paralyzed with some unseen fear.
Papyrus's face. It looked so concerned but his mind started morphing it. Started to smear it with blood. Everything was going grey and he could only see the orange paint smear on the taller skeleton's cheek. It flashed red and closed his eyes quickly, clutching his chest.
After a moment of standing there in shock and concern, the younger of the two, Papyrus, pulled Sans to his chest and wrapped his arms around him. It took a moment but the other soon calmed down enough to recipricate, wrapping his arms around Papyrus's neck.
Gently, the back of the collar for the cape the taller was wearing was pulled down so Sans could touch the orange stained bone that it attempted to hide. It was solid, there was no blood. No injury, Papyrus was okay.
"I'm so sorry, Pap..." He whispered.
It took a little while before Sans was ready to let go and head home. He wasn't completely better but the skeleton was attempting a smile. He even made a few bad puns that did little to lighten the suddenly heavy atmosphere.
As they closed the door behind them, Sans going to lock as was habit, Papyrus placed a hand on San's head. "I love you brother, please...you can talk to me."
There was silence for a long while. "It's nothing you need to concern yourself with, Bro. Just feeling a bit blue is all." His voice was so weak and wobbled a bit. "Sorry for worrying ya, I'll be white as rain tomorrow."
"Sans, this is not the time for puns." Papyrus played with his cape, adjusting the bone clasp in his awkwardness. "You always have nightmares and then you start apologizing to me for no reason...I'm concerned. I'm old enough to know! Please...atleast tell me something..."
Sans was shaking. "Nothing happened Paps. You know me, kinda just all over the place. Can't really stay in one piece. Heh....he..." He sighed. "I'm not sure I'll ever be able to tell ya, Pap. You...or anyone else...But I'm tired...I'm going to bed."
There was nothing else said as Sans headed up the stairs, pausing only to look at the sock next to the tv and smile a bit. Little things. Appreciate the little things.
It's alright, Paps is fine, it's in the past. He doesn't need to know, it was better if he didn't know.
This was supposed to be uploaded days ago but I got distracted and….eh? I uploaded it days ago on Undertale and Undertale AU Amino so…go follow me on there I guess for quicker updates on the comic. I also have a little wiki entry on both for easy reading of the comic as well as one on Paint Tale itself…which I really need to update but…eh?
As for the page, I don’t really have much to say. there’s not much to it. It’s a silent page with the first bout of coloring and lineart. Proper lineart at the very least. I hope everyone is enjoying paint tale so far, though!
I finally started the comic!! Yay! I wanted to just get started on it and post the first page, which may or may not be inked and colored for a few reasons.
It’s much easier to produce pages like this but I want to ink and color pages as well. I hope everyone enjoys a very bumpy start to comic making for me with Paint Tale!
