Selection from Paint Chip Collection 2023
The collection is so big now it can't be displayed comfortably on one wall. I haven't had them displayed since moving but it was time to fix that! Here's the spread I put together to hang up. I thought I would have had way more of the Sherwin Williams house shaped chips but I actually still have a good variety despite my favoritism for certain types.
In this world of everything costing too many dollars, the colourful bits of stiff paper at the hardware store are an exciting novelty.

Sherwin Williams House Shaped Paint Chips
My absolute favorite style of paint chip is when they look like a little house. Sherwin Williams changed the style of these slightly at some point. They either added or got rid of the little cutout on the corner, not sure which!

This Kilz paintchip is another one of my favorites in the collection. It is huge and really bright! I didn't select this one myself, a friend picked it up for me when they asked if I needed anything while they were out. Just some paint chips, thank you

So yesterday I finally found paint chips in a home improvement store in the city. In my hunt for paint chips I realised there hardly are any around anymore - they have practically gone extinct. But! At least I found that one store with paint chips (at a small cost each) in a fairly good size (8cm/~3in x 12cm/~4.5in). Now to await for this creative project (making a paint chip gluebook) to begin at the start of September 👏
Alcro is a Nordic brand so I've never encountered these, but It looks like there are little circles that can be punched out on the corner. I wonder why!
