When you're stuck inside your own head, and a prisoner of your own heart, time freezes but the snow continues to fall. It starts to pile up until you're completely covered and chilled to the bone. You're frozen like a statue, there's no one around, there's no wind, just silence. And then you realize you're sinking into the great nothingness.
