a moment of hesitation, a small flinch as headphones settle on head - any movement despite how small and soft , simply enough to spark defense. with years of pain and torment encoded into her, a reaction such as a mere flinch was almost too common now.      should not fear – this was mike.     this was safety, warmth, comfort and home. but even home could become cold should something shatter. 

there’s a slow blink of eyes, chest rose and fell with the softest of exhales; an attempt to relax self. to sooth self. hands rose to hold headphones to ears, watching as boys slender fingers press the button of a dusty radio. the tape stutters and comes to life, the sound flooding eardrums. it took her back a moment, rapid blinking and a nod - a small tug of smile at the corner of her lips.

                “sounds good.”

her words cause your smile to grow.  a puff of breath leaving your lips as your hand places itself over hers.  a small part of you waits for her to pull away    ;    like she did when you first met.  another part hopes she doesn’t    :    hopes she trusts you in the way you trust her.  you’d do anything for her, wouldn’t you  ?  you would lie for her.  run away with her.  risk your own life for her.  do anything she asked of you.

eyes stay trained upon hers. some part of you not comprehending how you feel    (    she’s beautiful  ;  but you don’t have the right words to express it.  not to her    )    lips twitch up even more as you stare admire her face, her smile causing butterflies to erupt in the pit of your stomach.

❛   yeah  ?  will showed me some new stuff, i thought you might like this one.   ❜      words are spoken through a smile.  you want nothing more but to see her smile for the rest of your life.

it was victor criss who did the most damage to the losers that day, partly because he was a PRETTY FAIR fastball pitcher , but mostly          paradoxically           because he was the least emotionally involved. more & more he didn’t want to be here. people could get seriously hurt in rockfights; a kid could get his skull split, a mouthful of broken teeth, could even lose an eye. BUT SINCE HE WAS IN IT , HE WAS IN IT.  he intended to dish out some trouble.

                                   IT WAS A GRAVEYARD SMASH !!!
