Phase 2

The two components have extracted out from the 8 elements from the Athos, which are durability, safety, healthy, fabrication,sensory, activation, real-time and technology. The first component is the smart panel. The panel composed with three main components which are mirror and sensacell board and frame. The second component is consisted with two main elements which are interactive projector and flooring tiles.

Athos is a hi-technology sportswear company. They use the technology of electromyography(EMG) to detect the muscle movement and showing the data on the iPhone application.

This phase is about finding the codes of the architect. The architect that I chose is Kenzo Tange. He is a Japanese architecture that use the style of metabolism with the combination of traditional Japanese architecture.

This habitat is designed for a designer. The style of the house is Brutalism, which mean most of the materials are concrete. It giving the sense of intense, rough and tough.

Case Study

Casa Leme is designed by Sao Paulo. The house itself has no window at all but still received all the natural light by two skylights. The main skylight is located in the middle of the house, which it brightening the whole area of the house during the day.

This is the master plan of the block 7, which contains 8 houses in total. The main circulation of the block is the one way road. At the end of the block there will be a junction where split the road into two ways: slope circulation to the clubhouse and exit of the block.

Project 2.2

This world containing 5 spaces which half is located under the water and the rest will be cover by the water in the middle of the month. The first space is about sight. Water will overflow from the inner wall to the outer wall which will create pattern of water on the wall. In space 2, floor is made from flexible plastic which will be bouncy due to water pressure. Walls in space 3 are made from flexible plastic, which will squeeze the room. Ceiling is space 4 is also made from flexible plastic which will bend down due to water pressure. And the last space is the same as space 1 but gap between walls are bigger which created different sight from space 1.
