The clone let out the barest of laughs as he squeezed back. Apparently he had a winning personality with him. “even when i’m an asshole?” He questioned teasingly as he ran his thumb over the back of Shiro’s hand. Kuron welcomed the calmness that was coming from this conversation.
“I- I remember waking up… strapped to a bed with doctors all around me. I remember them calling me Operation Kuron…. some numbers too.” the clone shook his head, “They took away my identity and now? I am of my own. I Love you, Fuck what everyone says.” He muttered as he watched the growl escape the other.
“Takashi. I can get dark. I can get possessive, Kashi.” He Admitted as he felt the kiss to his cheek, causing the other to smile. “I’m worried that I’ll hurt you… That the darkness I have will be too much But… I’ll try. For you I’ll try.” Kuron let himself be pulled into the kiss, his arm tightening around the other’s waist. This man was the most valuable thing that Kuron held dear.
The man parted his lips and started to deepen the kiss. “I want you, Now.” he whispered against the other’s lips.
“ even when you’re an asshole. “ he affirms. he’s...glad that kuron’s reached a sort of inner peace, in a way. that he’s not afraid to be his own person, that he’s not afraid to love him. perhaps it’s selfish, perhaps takashi wants kuron to be okay for a few...selfish reasons, but he also knows of his struggles, cares for him more than he thinks that the clone knows.
“ i know that you can get dark. you think i don’t know that? “ he smirks a bit. “ i’ve handled a lot worse. i think i can take you, possessiveness and all. “ he’s leaning forward, clinging to him like his life depended on it. “ besides. i kind of like it. “ and kuron’s deepening the kiss, making shudder, barely stopping a soft sound from escaping past his lips. he doesn’t think he’s ever desired someone so much. wanted someone so much, in body and soul.
it felt like he was on fire.
kuron takes the words out of his own mouth- he wants the other more than he thinks he’s ever wanted him before. “ i want you too- “ he’s cut off by the passionate kiss again, hands beginning to wander to his hips. “ please. “

The clone made a soft noise as he gave a small squeeze to their joined hands. “I can try and not to be an Asshole but I feel like that would take away from my sparkling personality.” Kuron teased softy, his smile turning lopsided.
“ ‘Kashi, I was made for war. I had be instilled with galran ideals. I may have made some sort of fragile peace with the team but in reality I’m a war dog…” The clone admitted as closed his eyes, meeting the other in the kiss. “it scares me, 'Kashi. These feelings of love… Affection. I was taught to ignore them, damn it all, I don’t want to.”
Kuron couldn’t help the growl that escaped his throat. “you hold so much control over me, Takahashi. I know you’ll quell them… I just don’t want to scare you.” The clone wrapped his free hand around the other’s back. Steel colored eyes opened up and watched the other man. Making a noise in the back of his throat, Kuron leaned forward and kissed the other man again.
takashi smiles, letting out a soft chuckle. “ don’t ever change the way that you are, kuron. “ he smiles. “ honestly, i don’t know if i could handle you trying to act differently. “ he gives his hand a soft squeeze.
his smile falters when the other speaks. “ ...i know. when i was the champion, i...kind of had to follow those ideals. it gets to you. i can’t imagine being instilled with them. that witch...” he shudders. “ she’s terrible. she tried to make you a weapon. but you’re more than just a war dog. just...admitting your feelings shows that. don’t ignore them, i don’t want you to either. “
he shudders at the growl that escapes him. “ ...you kind of are the same for me. you don’t scare me. every part of you i want, even the parts of you that...you may be afraid of. “ he presses a soft kiss to his cheek before he’s pulled into an actual one, letting his eyes flutter closed as he holds him close.

“I–” He didn’t know what to say. He never thought he would actually meet the original, much less still be alive for it. Frankly, he never thought he’d find out that he was a sham, a fake meant to be the downfall of Voltron. Everything he thought he was, was built on nothing be a lie, which was a lot to take in. With his hands stained so red, could he be forgiven for all that he’s done?
Haiiro finally uttered the only thing he could think of to say, softly and eyes averted. “I’m sorry…”
⸻after being brought back from d e a t h, shiro hadn’t particularly expected to meet the clone that had almost ended up killing his entire team. he hadn’t expected to take his body, of course, and admittedly that was a source of guilt for him despite all that had happened. his first instinct at seeing the clone is to FIGHT, to slam him against the wall and make him PAY for what he did, but that’s the age old champion inside of him talking.
of course, once he notices the look in haiiro’s eyes, his anger falters. he knows of haggar’s influence. he knows of her power and her treachery. perhaps he wasn’t responsible for as much as he thought. he had taken over his place in voltron while he was absent. he had been a good friend, a good leader. that hadn’t been for nothing.
❝ ...you weren’t in control. don’t feel like you need to apologize. ❞ he sighs. ❝ if you’re anything like me, you’ll probably blame yourself for all of this. ❞ hell, he feels guilty himself for what happened. ❝ don’t. it’s on haggar for all of this. ❞ he doesn’t really know why he’s telling the clone this, doesn’t know why he feels sympathy for him, but...he glimpses at what’s left of his prosthetic arm, and remembers- haggar was ruthless. he couldn’t have had much control at all, if any.

truthfully, he was still in shock. he had rarely ever seen kuron so serious about anything, and yet here he was, standing in front of him. reassuring shiro that yes, this wasn’t a joke. he did love him. the paladin can’t remember the last time he’d seen such a soft smile on the other’s face. “ you really can be an asshole, but...it’s cute, in a way. and...i don’t mind you being touchy. even if i act like it sometimes. “ he smiles, moving his hand to hold kuron’s, currently resting at the back of his neck.
“ ...i’m glad, you know. that i can make you happy. “ shiro lets out a soft sigh, resting his forehead against the others. “ i’m glad that i can help you move past what you’ve been through. “ he pulls away for a moment to press a soft kiss to his lips. “ don’t say that you don’t deserve me. you do. i want you just as much as you want me. “
“ and if you’re terrified, well, i guess i’ll just have to calm those fears. “ an affectionate smile graces takashi’s lips. he knows- love can be terrifying, and truth be told, he feels it too. but...he needs kuron so much, it’s crazy.

⸻he feels his heart skip a beat. this wasn’t something he had exactly…expected. he knew of his own feelings for him, but having them reciprocated wasn’t something that he could have predicted.
❝ …wait, really? ❞ he feels like he’s being pranked, like maybe this is just a ploy for kuron to get what he wants again but the look in his eyes is SINCERE. he almost looks afraid for admitting it. ❝ …you’re serious. ❞ shiro takes in a deep breath. he had no clue. he…doesn’t know what to do. of course he feels the same, he needs to say something-
his body moves before he can think of something to say, cupping kuron’s cheek before bringing him close, pressing his lips to the others, almost desperately so. kuron loves him. he pulls away quicker than he wants, truth be told, but…he needs to speak. he’s got an affectionate smile on his face, eyes soft as he looks at him.

⸻well FUCK. what a question. the paladin’s eyes go wide, he doesn’t know how to answer such a blatant question. he doesn’t know how to react. it wasn’t like the thought hadn’t crossed his mind before. did he love kuron? it was undeniable that he wasn’t the best person. he had done things, bad things that quite honestly should have deterred shiro away from him in the first place but…that hadn’t entirely been him.
sure, he was an ass at points. he could truly be a hassle to deal with, and he was always all over him. but…he didn’t hate it. at first it had been curiosity- it would be natural to be interesting in someone so similar yet so different. they were two sides of the same coin. it made sense to be drawn in at first.
but…he had a soft spot for kuron. let him get away with more than he probably should. why? it’s a question that’s wracked at his brain for a while now. perhaps he already knows the answer.
❝ …yeah. i do. ❞ he thinks he’s a bit foolish for it, thinks that perhaps falling for him wasn’t his best idea. but…it certainly hasn’t been his worst. kuron was an enigma- he didn’t quite understand him, but he supposes he doesn’t have to, at least not all the time.
He is just going to casually walk over to Shiro. Wrapping an arm around the other, he presses a passionate kiss to the man's lips. A smirk playing at his lips throughout the kiss.
he’s shocked- this is kind of something he had been trying to avoid but he can’t stop kuron from pulling him close and kissing him. he can feel him smirk and shiro wants to hate him but he can’t. maybe his resolve was broken quite easily. but when he finally pulls away, shiro is looking at him with a frown, yet his cheeks are red- he’s flustered.
“ …i told you not to do that. “

“Shiro… please?” He whined and leans against him, nuzzling shiro’s abdomen. He is currently relaxing against the other on his knees.
