Thinking of Grace on Erid sleeping in and jolting in a panic thinking “I’m late for school!” only to tell himself he’s a grown man and goes back to bed.

Only to jolt back up in panic, remembering he’s a teacher. But then again, belatedly remembers that he’s not on Earth anymore and doesn’t teach middle school now. He lies down once again.

Only to jump up one last time, remembering:

No, Eridians do not hate Earth or Stratt for sending Grace on a suicide mission. They understand that they were desperate and did not have the means to do it any other way, even if they wish the situation for Grace could've been better.

There’s only one street in New York that never saw any crime. Peter couldn’t walk by it without getting chills.

If he was going somewhere, and it took that road, he took a different route. He’d rather add an extra 40 minutes and be late than have to walk through there.

Even on patrols, Spider-Man went around it. And it wasn’t like he totally avoided that area— if a crime took place and he managed to catch it, then obviously, he’ll drop down, wrap it up, be back on his way.

Be wary, though. Everyone learned real fast that when you’re committing your special crime, you definitely didn’t want to do it there. You didn’t want to force Spider-Man to meet you on that particular street.

The criminals all lived through the encounter, sure, but he certainly wasn’t friendly about it. They’d wake up in the hospital, beaten black and blue, so shaken they refused to even say what happened. Just that they were guilty, and they’d keep repeating that ‘til the cops picked them up.

Ironic, how it all played out. One normal, family man was murdered here, a long time ago. The act of violence to start all of this, and the same one to finish it. Be-all, end-all.
