Welcome to Palomino, a western-inspired village where the prairie winds blow, banjos play at sundown, and the spirit of the frontier lives on! Nestled among golden grasslands and rustic homesteads, Palomino is home to a cast of rugged cowpokes, wandering dreams, and mischievous outlaws.
In this town, every resident has a story! Whether they’re tending to their ranch, running the local saloon, or stirring up a little Wild West trouble. So grab your boots, hitch up your horse, and meet the dream residents of Palomino! Who would you want to ride alongside on this frontier adventure? 🤠✨
🌾 Beardo – The wealthy ranch owner, always dressed to impress. He’s got the biggest plot of land, the best horses, and the fanciest saloon tab in town. Nobody really knows how he got so rich, but he sure likes to remind everyone that he is.
🌄 Billy – The wise old grandpa of Palomino. You’ll find him rocking on his porch at sunset, chewing on a piece of hay, and muttering about “the good ol’ days.” He’s seen it all, and he’s got a story (or ten) to tell.
💖 Flora – The town’s eccentric, a dazzling pink cowgirl with a flair for the dramatic. Some say she’s a rodeo queen, others say she’s a drag icon. Either way, she struts through town like she owns it.
🐷 Lucy – The town sweetheart. She spends her days baking fresh pies, feeding the barn animals, and making sure everyone in Palomino is well-fed and well-loved.
🎤 Monique – The town’s resident country singer and diva. She’s got big dreams, bigger hair, and an even bigger attitude. She hates being stuck in this dusty little town. She was meant for the glitz and glam of the big city!
👩🌾 Norma – A classic town mom, always making sure everyone has enough to eat and a place to rest their head. She keeps things running smoothly while scolding the troublemakers with a loving but firm hoof.
🤠 T-Bone – The heir to the ranch and the hottest young cowboy in town. He’s got charm, good looks, and a whole lot of responsibility on his shoulders. Every cowpoke in Palomino either wants to be him or date him.
🌵 Roscoe – The town bandit and rebel. He’s a cowboy with a mysterious past, always riding just ahead of trouble. Nobody really knows where he came from—or where he’s going next.
🐷 Curly – A kind-hearted local who helps out wherever he’s needed. Whether it’s fixing fences, delivering hay, or keeping the peace, Curly’s always got a hand to lend.
🥃 Shep – The town drunk. You’ll find him at the saloon, half-asleep with a whiskey in hand, muttering about the one that got away. Despite his rough-around-the-edges demeanor, he’s got a heart of gold (somewhere under all that dust).

as i was looking for legacy challenges that were being updated as new packs came out, i had the thought "hey, why not just write one myself?" so here we are! i'll do by best to add new generations as time goes on, but seeing as this already has 37 (!!) generations, i think we'll be okay for a bit.
a few notes:
this challenge incorporates mods. i tried to include options for players who do not use gameplay mods, but some generations are built around them.
this challenge uses (almost) all packs. some generations are based off specific packs though, so you could pick and choose which gens you want to do.
this challenge has story aspects. there's a lot of room for you to come up with a story yourself each generation, so have fun with it!
some generations are longer and more involved than others! this is meant to give you a bit of a break and provide variety between generations.
