Bro I wanna draw Heated Rivalry/Hollanov comics and things but I know if I do I'll probably stray from the path of God (nimona) and I don't want that waaa

Slipping through my fingerss all the tiiime (by abba)

Like you know when an obsession/hyperfixation/idk what to call it slips away and is slowly replaced by something else pipipi

Like, I'm most likely being dramatic but I went through the same thing with super mario and it made me real sad, even while drawing Goldenheart being lovey doveys </3 bc fr both media have helped me through rough times and i realized the other day that the 'rough days' that nimona have been helping with are no longer (not gonna say details, but for two months now I've been fine and good and therefore now my mind wants something new i guess??)

Or maybe I just gotta draw some fankid hollanov comics and friendship comics with hayden, rose landry, svetlana and anya and all that and then i'll go back to nimona stuff being in my mind 24/7

trying to stall by reading at least three hollanov oneshot fics through the day and rewatching the first two episodes all the time because I love them

Hi! Headcanon that Nimona and Ambrosius got the routine of exercising some days of the week and she loves it (but she's terrible at it)

(Completely based on me and one of my lil bros doing cardio today and both hyping the other up and then him saying he really liked it and hoped we did it again tomorrow (pipipi), so of course I had to draw the Nimonas as it sjdfk)

Tiny comic bc I saw a thing that random stuff becomes core memories (happened to me too sjdkf), like ppl that were there don't remember it but you remember it very vividly for some reason.

Context is that they were talking or something and Ambrosius didn't say anything useful

Based on one of the drawings here where Ballister was indeed moping about being a girl (Ambrosius was minding his business back then, but for some reason he remembers that moment very clearly)

(based on apparently Eugene Lee Yang never had done voice acting before -sources: i read it once- but doing a great job at it in Nimona sjdfks and Ballister's voice actor already having done many projects)

Nimona cover redesign

This was an assignment from one of my classes last spring! Our job was to redesign a pre-existing book cover of our choosing. I decided to make a cover for the graphic novel Nimona with the film adaption's designs of the main cast. But I wanted to give Ambrosius his long flowy hair from the comic version lmao

I wanted to go for a stained glass/ medieval manuscript look for my design since the story takes place in a futuristic medieval world.

Overall I had a blast making this illustration! I really enjoyed getting to make a cover for one of my favorite graphic novels from my childhood :)

My lil bros are rewatching Nimona right now and they love commenting while watching stuff, and since earlier this year they got explained the term gay, when they presented Ambrosius in the movie (in his commercial), the youngest said

"That's Ballister's husband 🗣️ Ballister is gay ☝️"

And I just told them days ago Ambrosius is Ballister's boyfriend, so he named him his husband bc he wanted to and he's right, they're married to me too bro 🏃

(also we had a little discussion of why Ambrosius cut off his arm if he's his boyfriend - did he betray him??? 🤨 - The oldest asked, and I explained the whole thing of the framing by the director and they were like ohh, okay. Then we talked about dragon nimona)

Also my lillest bro comments obvious stuff always, like 'she's bleeding' in the arrow leg scene, or 'nimona can turn into a little boy', and stuff sjdkhd so the Ballister's husband thing was said very factually
