Call me crazy but I get real antsy when people say they "downgraded" their "indie animation idea" to comics or audio dramas or any form of prose because animation was too expensive and/or time consuming.

You changed mediums. You did NOT downgrade.

(Also did you consider to adjust your storytelling for said new medium or are we just cramming the square peg into the round hole now because you think you found a shortcut)

I feel like it's super dismissive to just say it's a "downgrade" from animation. Audio dramas, comics, novels, they're all art forms in their own right that deserve equal respect. These same people get all up in arms, be it rightfully so, when animation is compared to live action in the same way. So... why are we, as artists, directing that same energy towards other mediums?

It's unneccessary. One medium is not superior to the other because it's not as "flashy" or "what's hip with the algorithm or the kids at the moment".

Swift Spark and the Defense Five: OFFICIAL TEASER TRAILER | Pan-tastique

At long last...! Consider this the first OFFICIAL trailer for Swift Spark and the Defense Five, coming to YouTube this August! The only thing that isn't 100% final about this teaser is the sound design, as I cobbled it together myself rather than rushing our sound designer to get it done sooner than we agreed to - releasing this trailer a month early was a split-second decision on my end. Our pilot relies mostly on crowdfunding, so a pledge to our Patreon would be most appreciated - you get a cool look into the behind-the-scenes of it all in return, as well as merch and a loving community!
