Here's a Critical Role mosaic that I made!

Critical Role has been a huge inspiration and a lifesaver for me. It is very dear to my heart and is one of the best shows I've ever seen❤️

I was always curious to see what would’ve happened have Vox Machina failed to prevent Thordak’s spawn from hatching or Raishan from turning into dracolich in time in the campaign, so I’m happy we got to see it happen in the animated series

And that’s the amazing thing about adaptations, not just adapting the original awesome moments, but adding more, looking back and exploring, getting to see the ‘what if’s of the story, keeping it fresh for both old and new viewers. And, as an old fan, getting surprised and kept at the edge of my sit, not knowing what’s next to come in the story even though I do know from watching the campaign, but also being not sure about if it will go the way it did there, it gives me life, I love it. I love how they’re tying in the Calamity lore, showing more stories with our beloved NPCs, and setting up new interesting plots. It was great to watch how Pike’s presence and support of Scanlan alone prevented the Bard’s Lament from happening in the way that we were expecting

But of course, not all adaptation choices are always good, and there’s some that I wish were done differently, like: Kash, he didn’t deserve this, and I would love him back, please, and Ripley, there were quite a lot that I liked (the Percy vs Ripley standoff, the resurrection ritual) and some that I didn’t (where are my ‘How do you Vox Machina want to do this’? And what about Cabal’s Ruin, we are getting it back, right?), and while we’re on the subject of vestiges, where are Whisper and Spire of Conflux, I wonder…

But for the rest of the choices, I understand that there can only be done so much when you try to squeeze hundreds of hours of content into twelve 20-minute episodes. And Critical Role does a spectacular job of doing it, and I have all the faith in the world that they’ll continue to do so, telling us their wonderful stories that fill our days with joy, and I’m so happy and grateful that I’m here to hear them! 😊

We can say that Thordak is just a maniacal tyrant, yes, but... Hear me out: he’s also a single father trying to provide for his children. The hardships of parenthood would drive anyone mad, let's cut him some slack...

...On a more serious note though, despite being a big evil dragon, he's still somehow one of the best fathers in the history of CR, and I actually felt bad for him for a second there after he lost his spawn

I love getting more scenes between siblings, Vax and Vex, Percy and Cassandra, and I can’t get enough of Grog and Pike being best buddies. The only thing I’m missing is Percy and Keyleth being best friends that they are, their friendship is my favorite across all campaigns, and I need to see more of them being besties, or at least interacting, in the animated series too

The Vaxleth, Perc'ahlia, and Pikelan fans (aka me!) are being fed well, but gimme some to the fans (that's me too!) who love seeing characters friendships too. Besides Percy and Keyleth, where are my Grog and Vax, Grog and Scanlan, Keyleth and Vex, etc.

I know there's only so much they can put in a season, but pretty please for the 4th season? 👉👈

I wonder, now, with Vorugal and Yenk dead, where will the party end up finding both The Spire of Conflux for Keyleth and The Holy Avenger for Kima? 🤔

I know there's a chance of them skipping over the Avenger (hope not), but there's no way Keyleth isn't getting her staff

And where's Whisper? Is it with Ripley? Is it safe?!

Been busy making Bells Hells as dragons on Flight Rising for a while now, and here's how they turned out

I'm Pancake220 on FR too, if anyone is playing and wants to see them for themselves there in my lair

I plan to eventually make both Vox Machina and The Mighty Nein too, but man, does it cost a lot of coin to dress 'em all up, and not even getting into the struggle that is breeding or finding the right dragon, with fitting colors and genes

So very soon, Gloamglut might be riderless (I doubt Zathuda will survive the next episode), which means that Fearne can claim him, pretty please? 👉👈 She deserves to have a dragon!

Maybe if not in the campaign, claiming him could be a oneshot, "The hunt for Gloamglut", I can see it happening, and I bet it would be awesome

Yeah, there maybe isn't much thought process going on in his head, but he is the sickest looking dragon I've ever seen (and he wasn't shy about showing as his beautiful colors and posture, seeing as he spent half the episode covering the cast's faces 😂)

Hear me out: He got like what, 5-6 nat 20's tonight? That's insane! And he just found an entire cult(?) of the fans of his woodwork. Not even talking about his more than successful love life

There's not a chance that the Dice and Story Gods won't pull the rug from under his feet on the next long rest, and he wouldn't roll a 100.

And we are also past 100 episodes into the campaign, there's only so long left for Travis to evade the odds of rolling triple zeroes

I would be devastated by his death, I need more of this old wise & funny gnome-werewolf in my life, but there, me thinks, is no better time for it than now. I can't imagine the heartbreak if it happens mid Ruidus infiltration :(
